PRODUCT OVERVIEW

You can use this item with any compatible, Bluetooth”-enabled device to stream music and enjoy hands-free calling. Please read this manual first before using.This speaker has an IPX5 rating: protected against low pressure water jets from all directions.

OPERATION

  TO
  DO THIS
  Power ON/OFF Press and hold the ~ button.
Play/pause Press the t> button to pause, press againto resume.
Next track Press and hold the + button for2 seconds.
Previous track Press and hold the – button for2 seconds.
Increase volume Press the + button.
Decrease volume Press the – button.
Answer call Short press the t>button.
End/reject call Press the ~ button.
Switch LED lighting options Long press the llc button to power OFFthe light, then short press it to power ONthe light.  Short press the i/ii button to switch to theother LED lighting effect options. Whenplaying music, there are 6 lighting effectoptions. When no music is playing, thereare 4 lighting effect options.

CHARGING

Use the included charging cable to fully charge the speaker before first use. It will takeapproximately 6 hours to fully charge.

  • The red LED will be ON while the speaker is charging
  • The red LED will turn OFF once charging is complete
  • If the speaker is turned ON while charging, the red LED will flash

PAIRING

  1. Press and hold the ~ button to turn the speaker ON/OFF.
  2. Turn Bluetooth’ ON in your device settings and select “HRSP 5042”.
  3. Once paired successfully, the LED will be ON and the speaker will beep.
  4. If you fail to pair your device or you want to pair it with a new device, please repeat the steps outlined above.NOTE: While in pairing mode, the speaker will beep. If there is no device paired within 15 minutes the speaker will turn OFF. To un-pair, press and hold the * button or disconnect in your device settings.NOTE: The speaker will automatically pair with previously paired devices provided that Bluetooth” is ON and within range. The speaker will chime to indicate that it has been successfully re-paired.

TWS (TRUE WIRELESS STEREO) CONNECTION

Connect two HRSP 5042 speakers for a true wireless stereo experience. To connect:

  1. Ensure neither speaker is connected to your device via Bluetooth0 and turn Bluetooth” OFF on your device.
  2. Turn both speakers ON and double press the * button on either of the two speakers.The speaker will beep (this is the master speaker). The speaker will beep again to indicate that TWS pairing is successful. The LED light on the master speaker will flash quickly; the LED light on the other speaker will be ON.
  3. Turn Bluetooth” ON in your device settings and select “HRSP 5042”.
  4. Press and hold the ~ button to turn both speakers OFF.NOTE: The two speakers will automatically pair to each other each time they are turned ON. If you want to cancel automatic TWS pairing, after TWS has been connected, press and hold the play/pause button on either of the speakers for 3 seconds.

HANDSFREE SPEAKERPHONE

When a smartphone is connected to your speaker follow the steps below to take calls handsfree.

  1. Press the Play/Pause t> button to answer the call, then press the power ON/OFF ~ button to end the call.
  2. Press the power ON/OFF ~ button to reject the call.

TROUBLESHOOTING

No Sound:

  • Ensure the speaker is charged and has enough battery power for operation
  • Ensure the speaker is switched ON
  • Ensure your Bluetooth’ device is ON
  • The volume of the speaker is too low, adjust the volume to an appropriate levelNOTE: If the speaker beeps every few seconds, the battery is low. Please recharge the speaker.
