Important Safety InstructionsRead this instruction manual carefully before using the product and retain it for future reference. It contains important information for your safety as well as operating and maintenance advice.

  • This product is intended used for smoke infusing to the finished food such as meat, vegetables, fish, sauce, etc.
  • Use the product only as described in this manual. Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use as it may lead to personal injury or damage to the product.
  • This product is intended for household use and indoor use only.
  • This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.

Keep this product out of the reach of the children.CAUTION! Hot surface. The danger of burns! The front metal barrel and burning chamber of the product will become

very hot during and after use. Allow the product to cool completely before touching the barrel or burning chamber for cleaning or storing.

  • Always ensure the product is properly assembled before use. Follow the instructions in this manual. Do not use a damaged product.
  • Do not attempt to burn anything other than small wood chips, wood sawdust, dried herbs, cooking spices, or tea leaves in the burning chamber.
  • Do not use the product near explosive, flammable materials or any other heating sources.
  • Do not place any part of the product in gas, electric, or microwave oven or on a hot gas or electric burner.
  • WARNING: ALWAYS switch OFF when not used. Do not leave the product unattended when in use.
  • Keep using this product clear of walls, curtains, and other heat or steam-sensitive materials.
  • Leave at least 30 cm spacing around the food and the product for ventilation purposes during use.
  • Use the product in a well-ventilated area, the burning of wood chips/dust, dried herbs, cooking spices, and/or tea leaves may result in the emission of combustion by-products which is not good for health for a long period of exposure.
  • Always empty ash when igniting material into a non-flammable receptacle.
  • Exercise extreme care when igniting the wood chips in the burn chamber of the product; improper ignition of flammable materials may result in an explosion or fire hazard. Do not overturn the product during operation.
  • Always use a match or lighter to ignite the materials in the burning chamber of the product. DO NOT  use a kitchen torch or another heating device as excessive heat may damage the product.
  • Do not point the product at any person or flammable object.
  • Do not block the exit or bend the hose when in use to avoid damage to the hose.
  • CAUTION! Never switch ON the product without the metal barrel or mesh filter put in place properly.
  • Never disassemble any parts of the product other than the front barrel for cleaning purposes.
  • Avoid using the product in areas where smoke may activate smoke alarms, smoke detectors,s or fire suppression systems.
  • Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids for cleaning as this may damage the product. No parts are dishwasher safe.

Battery Safety Instructions

  • The danger of explosion! Batteries must not be re-chargeable or thrown in the fire or short-circuited.
  • Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures such as from direct sunlight or fire. Do not place the product on a heating source.
  • If batteries are already leaked, remove them from the battery compartment with a clean cloth. Dispose of the batteries in accordance with the provisions. Avoid contacting the leaked battery acid.
  • CAUTION! There is a danger of explosion if the batteries are inserted incorrectly. Use only the same battery types. Do not use old and new batteries together and of different types from different manufacturers.
  • Always insert batteries in accordance with (+) and (-) polarity as illustrated in the battery compartment.
  • Batteries are life-threatening if swallowed. Store all batteries out of the reach of the children. Seek medical help immediatelyif batteries are swallowed.
  • Do not allow children to change batteries.

Remove the batteries when you are not going to be using the product for a long period of time.

Preparations before use

  • Remove all packaging and check the machine for completeness and transport damages. In case of damage, contact supplier immediately. DO NOT use the product. (See ==> Warranty).
  • Ensure the surroundings have sufficient ventilation.

Battery installation

  • Remove the battery compartment cover (6) by pressing the locking clip at the bottom of the product.
  • Insert 2 batteries of the same type (3V 2 x 1,5V, battery type AA, not included) according to the polarity markings at the bottom of the rear barrel (5) with the batteries.
  • Do not use new and old or different types of batteries together.
  • Then, close the battery compartment cover (6) afterwards.

Operation

  • Insert the soft extension hose (7) into the rigid hose (3).
  • Place a small number of wood chips (not included) into the burning chamber (1).Note: Do not overfill the burning chamber (1). The wood chips should just cover the inside mesh filter area with a thin layer.
  • Press down the ON/OFF button (4) as below to switch ON the product. Press again the ON/OFF button (4) to switch OFF the appliance.

ON positionOFF position

  • Use a march or lighter (not included) to apply a small flame to the top surface of the wood chips. Move the flame around so as to ignite the entire exposed surface. For best results, make sure the burning area is evenly distributed or centered.Note: Dry wood chips are available in grocery stores and hardware stores.WARNING! DO NOT use a kitchen torch or butane torch style lighter.
  • Once the smoke is seen emission from the end of the hose (7). Direct and place the hose (7) to where the food is required. Then, put it under the cover/plastic wrap (not included) to prevent the smoke from escaping.
  • Trap the smoke for a few seconds until the inside area is filled with dense smoke.
  • Remove the appliance together with the soft extension hose (7), still let the food be covered with plastic wrap for several minutes. Main parts of the product Model: 199961

Cleaning

The separate collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.
