The kitchen scale and precision scale, 580226 is water resistant scale with sealed housing design. The scales have a tare function built-in. Suitable for kitchen usages.
Battery Safety Instructions
- Danger of explosion! The batteries must not be charged, or re-activated by other means, disassembled, throw into fire or short-circuited.
- Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures, like direct sunlight or fire. Do not place near any heat source.
- Caution! Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly replaced. Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent type. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types or brands.
- Always insert batteries correctly with regard to the polarities (+ and -) marked on the battery.
- Swallowed batteries are lethal. Keep batteries out of reach of children and pets. Immedi- ately ask for medical assistance if battery is swallowed.
- Remove the batteries if you will not use the kitchen scale for an extended period of time.
- Batteries shall be stored in well-ventilated, dry and cool conditions.”

Preparing the appliance for use
- Remove all the packing material
- Remove 2 insulation tapes on the batteries for operation.
- Press the “ON” button. The scale is now ready for use.

The scale is designed with an auto power-off function for energy efficiency. If the same reading is displayed for more than 1 minutes the scale will automatically turn off.

Discarding & Environment
When decommissioning the appliance, the product must not be disposed of with other household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose to your waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point.
