CEILING INSTALLATION LOUDSPEAKER iNSTALL

The Tessen TNi-C range delivers premium audio reinforcement.

Designed with the audio installer in mind, the TNi-C range features high-grade coaxial drivers and 4 position power tap selector located under the front steel grille; providing swift output adjustment once the ceiling speaker is installed.

With connectivity for 70V/100V and 8 Ohm low impedance lines, the TNi-C range delivers a highly flexible solution. The spring connection terminals ensure cables are secure once fitted and the dog ear mounts are a simple yet effective mounting method.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

Adjustable Power Modescan be accessed after installation with the quick switch options.

Quick-Lock MountingRotating locking lugs for secure rattle-free mounting.

  1.  Choose a suitable location for the installation. Rear clearance and the structural integrity of the mounting surface must be considered and anything else such as piping and cable that may have previously been installed.2A: Grill removal: Set one of the Mounting Arms (Out Position) as shown (A).2B: Gently push the Mounting Arm in the direction shown.2C: The speaker Grill Should lift allowing it to be easily removed.
  2. : Audio connection: Ensure correct polarity, especially if a 70V/100V line system is used.
  3. : Carefully position the Ceiling Speaker in the ceiling aperture after ensuring the mounting arms are set as shown.5A: Fix the speaker to the ceiling in place using three fixing screws for the TNi-C4 and four for the TNi-C6 and TNi-C8.5B: Power Mode. Set the output wattage and voltage line based on the connection setup. See pages 3 and 4 for more information.
  4. : To complete the install, carefully fit the speaker grille.

Power Modes: Depending on the required output level, and the type of amplifier used to power the system, connect see. These are summarized below:

OPTION 1: 70V LINE SYSTEMAudio connection and audio tap setup.

OPTION 2: 100V LINE SYSTEMAudio connection and audio tap setup.

70V/100V line systems have the added advantage of allowing many speakers to be used in the setup using parallel connections. Ensure the cable used is capable of delivering the working current and the amplifier has sufficient drive capacity to support the number of speakers in the system.

OPTION 3: LOW IMPEDANCE SETUP

For added flexibility, the TNi-C Range provides a Low impedance setting for use with a conventional amplifier.

For a Low Impedance setup, ensure the + speaker cable IS NOT connected to the 70V/100V output. Doing so could result in damage to the Ceiling Speaker.Depending on the amplifier used, it may be possible to use more than one loudspeaker in this mode.

LOW IMPEDANCE – PARALLEL CONNECTION – The amplifier will see a combined speaker impedance of 4Ω.LOW IMPEDANCE – SERIES CONNECTION – The amplifier will see a combined speaker impedance of 16Ω.
