•DO NOT use attachments not recommended by Charlescraft; specifically any attachments not provided with the unit.
•DO NOT place or store appliance where it can fall or be dropped into a tub or sink.
•DO NOT place or drop into water or any other liquid.
•This unit should not be used by children without adult supervision. THIS IS NOT A TOY.
•Turn off appliance when not in use.
•Never operate this appliance if it has been damaged or if it is not working properly. Return it to the Charlescraft Service Centre for examination and repair.
•Keep away from heated surfaces.
•This product is a non-professional appliance designed to provide soothing massage to worn muscles. DO NOT use this product as a substitute for medical attention.
•This appliance is designed for household use only.

Caution—Please read all instructions carefully before operating.
•If you have concerns regarding your health, consult your doctor before using this product.
•Individuals with pacemakers should consult a doctor before use.
•Those with the following conditions should consult their doctor before using this product:
• Pregnancy
• Malignant Tumor
• Diabetes
• Conditions requiring rest
• Heart Disease
•If at any time soreness, rash or an increase in pain occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.
•NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas, skin eruptions or an open wound.
•A massage session longer than 15 minutes is not recommended.
Battery Precautions
•Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
•When installing batteries, observe proper +/– polarities. Incorrect installation of battery may cause damage to the unit.
•DO NOT mix different types of batteries together (e.g. alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with new ones).
•If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
Caution: All servicing of this massage must be
performed by authorized Charlescraft Service Personnel only.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• To use Spot, place on ground; place foot on top and apply pressure (A).
• Spot may also be used by using hand grips on back (B) and applying pressure to desired area for massage.
• When batteries need replacing, open battery compartment on back of Spot. Figure C shows location of battery compartment. Insert two “AA” batteries into the chamber as directed on the bottom of the compartment. Replace battery cover.
Note: Do not remove the soft cover, it is not replaceable
Caution: To avoid injury and irreparable damage, always remain seated when using massager. Never stand on the unit.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Charlescraft guarantees this product free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety days from the date of purchase, except as noted. This Charlescraft product warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse, accident, the attachment of any unauthorized accessory, alteration to the product, or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of Charlescraft. Charlescraft shall not be responsible for any type of incidental, consequential, or special damages. All implied warranties, including but not limited to those warranties of fitness and merchantability, are limited in the total duration of ninety days from the original purchase date. To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics by Charlescraft product, either hand deliver or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase), postpaid, along with a certified check or money order in the amount of $10.00 payable to Charlescraft to cover handling. Mail to: Charlescraft, 127 Brockhouse Road, Toronto, Ontario M8W 2X1. Upon receipt, Charlescraft will repair or replace, as appropriate, Spot Massager and return it to you, postpaid. Warranty is solely through Charlescraft. Service of this product by anyone other than Charlescraft voids warranty. This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have additional rights which vary from province to province. Because of individual provincial regulation, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
