• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on or near children, invalids or disabled persons.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Do not use attachments not recommended by HoMedics; specifically any attachments not provided with the unit.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be dropped into a tub or sink.
• Do not place or drop into water or any other liquid.
• This unit should not be used by children without adult supervision. THIS IS NOT A TOY.
• Turn off appliance when not in use.
• Never operate this appliance if it has been damaged or if it is not working properly. Return it to the HoMedics Service Center for examination and repair.
• Keep away from heated surfaces.
• This product is a non-professional appliance designed to provide soothing massage to worn muscles. Do not use this product as a substitute for medical attention.
• This appliance is designed for household use only

Caution: Please read all instructions carefully before operating. 

• If you have concerns regarding your health, consult your doctor before using this product.
• Individuals with pacemakers should consult a doctor before use.
• Those with the following conditions should consult their doctor before using this product:
• Pregnancy
• Diabetes
• Heart Disease
• If at any time soreness, rash or an increase in pain occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas, skin eruptions or an open wound.
• A massage session longer than 15 minutes is not recommended.

Battery Precautions

• Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
• When installing batteries, observe proper +/– polarities.Incorrect installation of battery may cause damage to the unit.
• Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with new ones).
• If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
• Do not immerse battery compartment in water.

Operating Instructions:

• Unscrew water bottle cap (A) and remove from water bottle bag. Unscrew water massage cap (B) and place 2 “AA” batteries into the chamber as indicated on compartment. Replace massage cap.
• Fill water bottle two-thirds (60 oz) full with plain tap water only (No more than 128 F).Note: Do Not overfill.Note: Do Not use boiling water.
• Replace water bottle cap and make sure it is on securely
• Test for leakage by turning bottle upside down and pressing firmly.
• To activate massage press power (C)
• Hold Water Bottle over desired area to be massaged.
• After completing massage turn Water Bottle off by depressing power button once.
• Empty water bottle when not in use, by unscrewing water bottle cap and removing it from bag. Pour water into the sink.

NOTE: Water Bottle may be used without massage function.

Removable Cover

• To remove cover, first make sure water bottle is empty.
• Remove water bottle cap / massage tube.
• Pull hook and loop closure apart (Figure 1) and pull water bottle out through this opening. (Figure 2)
• To replace cover, make sure water bottle is empty. Pull hook and loop closure apart and slide water bottle in bottom first (Figure 3). Bend top part and push the top through the top opening. Secure hook and loop closure together.

Recommended Cleaning Instructions:

Removable Cover:

• Machine Wash Warm, Tumble Dry Low

Water Bottle

• Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the battery compartment.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass / furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the Water Bottle. There are no user serviceable parts. For service send the unit to the Homedics address listed in the warranty section.
