TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY(Valid in USA only)HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in materialand workmanship for a period of two years from the date of originalpurchase, except as noted below.This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused bymisuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorizedaccessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoeverthat are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty is effective onlyif the product is purchased and operated in the USA. A product thatrequires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any countryother than the country for which it was designed, manufactured,approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by thesemodifications is not covered under warranty. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
NEVER block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a softsurface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may beblocked. Keep air openings free of lint, hair, etc.
NEVER use while sleeping or fall asleep while using the massager.
NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being usedor where oxygen is being administered.
DO NOT use on or near eyes or other highly sensitive areas.
DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating canoccur and cause fire, electrocution or injury to persons.
DO NOT carry this appliance by supply cord or use cord as handle.
DO NOT use the massager directly on one concentrated area of thebody. Massagers are designed to be used in a continuous motion, constantlychanging the massage area.
To disconnect, turn all controls to the “OFF” position, then removeplug from outlet.
This appliance is designed for household use only.

This product is a non-professional appliance designed to provide soothing massageto worn muscles. DO NOT use this product as a substitute for medical attention.
DO NOT use this product before bed. The massage has a stimulating effect andcan delay sleep.
NEVER use this product while in bed.
This product should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any physicalailment that would limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls.
This unit should not be used by children or invalids without adult supervision.
This product should never be used by any individual suffering from any ailment thatwould limit or altogether inhibit the user’s capacity to feel or have any sensation inthe body part that the product is being used on.

Instructions for Use

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (oneblade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. DO NOT change theplug in any way.

ALWAYS make sure the unit is set to the Off, “O” position before inserting theplug into a 120 volt electrical outlet.
Massage: To turn the unit on, simply slide the switch located on the bottomside of the unit up to the massage selection denoted by “M” (Fig. A). Toadjust the intensity of the massage, slide the variable switch, located on thetop side of the unit, down for lower intensity and up for higher intensity. (Fig.B)
Massage with Thermal Heat: Viewing the bottom side of the unit simply twistthe massage head counter-clockwise (to the left) and pull the attachment headoff (Fig. C). Locate the two red (heat) attachments and place them onto thepost and perpendicular to the massage unit. Once on the post, twist theattachment clock wise (to the right) to secure. The heads should now bealigned in the same direction as the unit (Fig. D). Slide the ON/OFF switch upcompletely, to activate the heat function denoted on the switch as “M+H”.Allow a few minutes for heat to fully activate. NOTE: To eliminate the risk of being burned, never use theheat function without the attachments. Do not use thethermal heat continuously for more than 15 minutes. Do notuse if you have sensitive skin, poor circulation, discoloredareas, swelling, burned, inflamed or where skin eruptions orsores are present. Heat should be pleasant and comfortable.Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue use and consultyour physician.
Apply massager head lightly to the area you wish to treat.NOTE: Do not use the massager on one concentrated areaof the body. This massager is designed to be used withcontinuous motion, constantly changing the massage areaso it is not used on one concentrated area of the body.CAUTION – as stated in the “IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS”section of this manual, never use this appliance on or near eyesor other highly sensitive areas.
Operation of longer than 15 minutes is not recommended andmay cause overheating.
When treatment is completed, turn unit off, allow to cool, unplugthe power supply and store properly in a dry place.

Caution:Never use the heat feature without the proper attachment.Caution:All servicing of this unit must be performed by authorizedHoMedics service personnel only.

To Change AttachmentsYour massager comes equipped with three custom massage head attachments.Each attachment is designed to provide a different massage sensation:

Large acunode massage heads rejuvenate worn muscles
Rolling massage heads for a gentle massage action
Heated massage heads offer soothing heat therapy

Viewing the bottom side of the unit, simply twist the massage head counter-clockwise(to the left) and pull the attachment head off (Fig. C). To apply massage head, placethe new attachment onto the post and perpendicular to the massage unit. Onceseated onto the post, twist the attachment clockwise (to the right) to secure. Theheads should now be aligned in the same direction as the unit (Fig. D).

MaintenanceTO CLEAN:Be sure to unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a soft, slightlydamp cloth to wipe. NEVER allow water or any liquids to come into contact with thehandle.TO STORE:Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow it to cool before storing in its box or aclean, dry place. Coil the cord and secure it with the supplied fastener. DO NOT hangthe unit by the power cord.
