WARNING: WHEN USING AN ELECTRICAL PRODUCT, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, AND/OR SERIOUS INJURY, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

  • This product is suitable for indoor, outdoor and commercial use.
  • Do not expose product to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the sprayer will increase the risk of damage or risk of electric shock.
  • Do not use charger outdoors.
  • Before using any sanitizer or other spray materials in this sprayer, read the label on its original container thoroughly and follow its directions. Some spray materials are dangerous and should not be used in this sprayer, as they can damage the sprayer and cause serious bodily injury or property damage.
  • Know the contents of the chemical being sprayed. Read all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and container labels provided with the chemical. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s safety instructions. It is a violation of federal law to use an EPA-approved disinfectant in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

  • Avoid Dangerous Environment ­ Don’t use sprayer in damp or wet locations.
  • Do not use the sprayer for any job except that for which it is intended.
  • Do not allow to be used as a toy. Not intended for use by children age 16 and under. To avoid injury or damage, keep children away from the sprayer.
  • Store the sprayer out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the sprayer or these instructions to operate the product.
  • Store the sprayer in a secure, well-ventilated indoor space with the fluid tank empty.
  • Do not allow bystanders or children in the area while operating this product. Exposure to some chemicals can be hazardous.
  • Use only as described in this user’s manual.
  • Do not use charger with damaged cord or plug. If product or charger is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, call customer service at 1-888-768-2014.
  • Do not pull or carry charger by cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Do not unplug charger by pulling on cord. To unplug charger, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  • Do not handle charger, plug, or charger terminals with wet hands.
  • The anti-static strap must be fastened to the user in a place that makes direct contact with the user’s skin.
  • If the anti-static strap placement interferes with gloves or similar protective equipment, the anti-static strap must be worn underneath the protective equipment.
  • If the anti-static strap becomes disconnected or damaged in any way, stop the sprayer and follow the instructions for replacing the strap in the Maintenance section.
  • The anti-static strap should not be worn while performing maintenance and the electrostatic switch should be turned to “OFF”
  • Use safety equipment. Always wear long sleeves and gloves to protect your skin against drifting spray and during mixing filing and cleaning.
  • Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust mask when using the sprayer. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s safety instructions and guidelines listed on the SDS sheet.
  • Always wear eye protection with side shields or goggles marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in fluids entering your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.
  • Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not use on a ladder or unstable support. Stable footing on a solid surface enables better control of the sprayer in unexpected situations.
  • Do not use the sprayer if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any product that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
  • Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

  • Do not put the sprayer into water or other liquid. Do not place or store the sprayer where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

DANGER: RISK OF FIRE OR EXPLOSION. DO NOT SPRAY FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS SUCH AS GASOLINE. LOOK FOR THIS SYMBOL REFERENCE ON THE CONTAINER.

  • Do not operate the sprayer in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. the sprayer and charger may create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
  • Do not smoke while using the sprayer, or spray where spark or flame is present.
  • To reduce the risk of fire or explosion use a liquid with a flash point higher than 140°F (60°C).
  • Electric shock hazard. Never spray toward electrical outlets.
  • Do not use bleach, or hydrogen peroxide based solutions.
  • Do not use alcohol based chemicals.
  • Do not use powders or abrasive chemicals.
  • Do not use caustic (alkali) or self-heating liquids in this sprayer.
  • Do not point the sprayer nozzle in the direction of people or pets.
  • Risk of injection. Do not discharge directly against skin.

WARNING: RISK OF FIRE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND INJURY. NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BATTERY PACK OR CHARGER TO WATER, MOISTURE, OR FLUIDS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CORROSIVE OR CONDUCTIVE FLUIDS, OR ALLOW FLUIDS TO FLOW INSIDE THESE ITEMS.

Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as salt water, chlorine, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit in the battery pack. If your battery pack is exposed to a corrosive or conductive fluid, do not attempt to use or charge the battery pack and immediately perform the following steps:

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and rubber gloves.
  • Place your exposed battery pack in a large bucket, such as a 5 gallon or similar bucket, and fill the bucket with regular tap water. Do not place more than two packs in the bucket.
  • Locate the bucket outdoors in an area inaccessible to children and pets and away from all buildings, garages/sheds, structures, vehicles, and combustible/flammable materials.
  • Leave the battery pack(s) in the bucket filled with tap water and call Customer Service at 1-888-768-2014 for additional instructions on the proper disposal of the exposed battery pack(s).

WARNING: BEFORE FILLING THE TANK, ALWAYS REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK. WIPE UP ANY SPILLS BEFORE INSERTING THE BATTERY PACK. FOLLOWING THIS RULE WILL REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK AND CORROSIVE LIQUIDS ENTERING THE BATTERY PACK, WHICH CAN CAUSE BATTERY PACK FAILURE INCLUDING SHORT CIRCUIT RESULTING IN SMOKE, FIRE, AND/OR SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.

WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW CONDUCTIVE OR CORROSIVE FLUIDS TO GET INSIDE THE BATTERY PACK. IF CONDUCTIVE OR CORROSIVE FLUIDS ARE SPILLED ON THE BATTERY, REFER TO THE INSTRUCTIONS IN YOUR BATTERY OPERATOR’S MANUAL.

  • Prevent unintentional starting. Do not carry the sprayer with your finger on the trigger switch and do not connect the battery with your finger on the trigger switch.
  • Disconnect the battery from the sprayer before draining, cleaning, or storing the sprayer. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of accidental starting.
  • Recharge only with the HOOVER charger. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of injury and fire when used with another battery pack. See page 7 for charger compatibility.
  • Use products only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire. See page 7 for battery compatibility.
  • When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  • Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the battery with conducting materials such as rings, bracelets, and keys. The battery or conductor may overheat and cause burns.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from battery may cause irritation or burns.
  • Under extreme usage or temperature conditions, battery leakage may occur. If liquid comes in contact with your skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If liquid gets into your eyes, flush them with clean water for at least 10 minutes, then seek immediate medical attention. Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
  • Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  • Do not open or modify the battery pack. Released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to the eyes or skin. It may be toxic if swallowed.
  • Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperatures. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265°F/130°C may cause explosion.
  • Do not dispose of the battery(ies) in a fire. The cell may explode. Check with local codes for possible special disposal instructions.
  • Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack. Do not use a battery pack or charger that has been dropped or received a sharp blow. A damaged battery is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged battery immediately.
  • Batteries can explode in the presence of a source of ignition, such as a pilot light. To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never use any cordless product in the presence of open flame. An exploded battery can propel debris and chemicals. If exposed, flush with water immediately.
  • Do not charge battery tool in a damp or wet location. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
  • Have this product serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
  • When servicing the product, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions in the Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance instructions may create a risk of shock or injury.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance (or the battery pack) except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.

CAUTION ­- TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DAMAGE:

  • Store appropriately indoors in a dry place with the sprayer and tank level to each other. Do not expose the sprayer to freezing temperatures.
  • Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating this product. Do not use while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating this product may result in serious personal injury.
  • Keep the sprayer and its handle dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Always use a clean cloth when cleaning. Never use brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum based products, or any strong solvents to clean your tool. Following this rule will reduce the risk of loss of control and deterioration of the enclosure plastic.
  • Use this product in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the product for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
  • Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.
  • Do not pour hot or boiling liquids into the tank. These can weaken or damage the tubes or tank.
  • Avoid spraying on windy days. Spray can be accidentally blown onto plants or objects that should not be sprayed.
  • Do not leave residue or spray material in the tank after using the sprayer. Clean after each use.
  • Spray area must be well ventilated.
  • Maintain the sprayer. Thoroughly inspect both the inside and outside of the sprayer and examine the components before each use. Check for cracked and deteriorated tanks, leaks, clogged nozzles, and missing or damaged parts. If damaged, have the sprayer repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained products.

CAUTION:To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not touch the nozzle during use.Keep all body parts out of the spray pattern.

BATTERY DISPOSAL WARNING – RISK OF EXPLOSION OR EXPOSURE TO TOXIC MATERIAL

The battery must be collected, recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. The EPA certified RBRC Battery Recycling Seal on the lithium-ion [Li-ion] battery indicated Techtronic Industries, a corporate affiliate of HOOVER, Inc., is voluntarily participating in an industry program to collect and recycle these batteries at the end of their useful life, when taken out of service in the United States or Canada. The RBRC program provides a convenient alternative to placing used Li-ion batteries into the trash or the municipal waste stream, which may be illegal in your area. Please visit www.rbrc.org/call2recycle/ for information on Li-ion battery recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in your area. HOOVER’s involvement in this program is part of our commitment to preserving our environment and conserving our natural resources.

Know Your Sprayer

The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the product and in this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.

Unpack and Inspect

Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the Packing List are included.

WARNING: If any parts are damaged or missing do not operate this product until the parts are replaced. Use of this product with damaged or missing parts could result in serious personal injury.

  1. Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
  2. Don’t throw the packaging out until you are sure there was no breakage or damage to your sprayer.

OPERATION

WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with the product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury.

WARNING: Use safety equipment. Protect your eyes, skin, and lungs while mixing, filling, spraying, and cleaning. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury and damage to property.

WARNING: Do not use this sprayer or enter the spray area if you have a pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), internal pump, or any other similar medical device. Do not use on or near electrical medical equipment.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not touch the nozzle during use.

NOTICE: Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not operate this product until all missing or damaged parts are replaced. Please contact customer service or an authorized service center for assistance.

What Solution Can You Use?

You may use this product for the purpose listed below:

  • For use with most consumer grade disinfectants and sanitizing solutions. DO NOT USE THIS SPRAYER WITH BLEACH, HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, PINE SOL OR PINE OIL BASED SOLUTIONS. DO NOT USE WITH VINEGAR.
  • Know the contents of the chemical being sprayed. Read all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and container labels provided with the chemical. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s safety instructions. It is a violation of federal law to use an EPA-approved disinfectant in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Filling the Tank

When adding spray solutions, you may add water and the desired chemical solution directly into the tank, or use a solution that has been premixed in a separate container, then poured into the sprayer, using a funnel if needed. For either method, remember:

  • Liquids used must be as thin as water. Thicker liquids will not spray properly.
  • Do not overfill the tank.

NOTE: If using a measuring container or funnel to fill the tank, be sure to thoroughly clean and rinse these items after use. If premixing the spraying solution, rinse the container used for mixing.

TO FILL:

  • Turn off the electrostatic function and remove the battery from the unit.
  • Unscrew the cap and remove it from the tank.
  • Fill the tank with the desired liquid, up to 1/2 gal.

NOTE: To ensure proper operation of the sprayer, DO NOT fill past the max fill line. n Screw the cap back onto the sprayer, making sure it is tightened securely.

NOTE: Wipe the outside of the tank with a dry cloth and clean up any spills before inserting the tank.

  • Reinstall the battery pack.

NOTICE: It is important to thoroughly clean the unit after each use. Allowing liquid to remain in an idle tool for an extended period may cause its moving pieces and connectors to seize up.

Using the Anti-Static Strap

CAUTION: The Anti-Static strap must be worn by the user at all times during use.

  1. Slip the anti-static band onto your wrist or arm.
  2. Lift the locking tab and pull the end of the strap to tighten as needed.
  3. After adjusting, lower the locking tab to secure to the strap.
  4. The anti-static strap must be fastened to the user in a place that makes direct contact with the user’s skin.
  5. If the anti-static strap placement interferes with gloves or similar protective equipment, the anti-static strap must be worn underneath the protective equipment.
  6. If the anti-static strap becomes disconnected or damaged in any way, stop the sprayer and follow the instructions for replacing the strap in the Maintenance section.
  7. The anti-static strap should not be worn while performing maintenance.
  8. The electrostatic function must be turned off before the anti-static strap is removed.
Connecting the Battery Pack

WARNING: Always remove battery pack from your tool when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury.

TO INSTALL:

  1. Align the grooves on the battery pack with the raised ribs in the battery port and place the battery pack in the tool.
  2. Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap in place and that the battery pack is secured in the tool before beginning operation.

WARNING: Do not spray electronic devices or in areas where they may be present.

CAUTION: The Anti-Static strap must be worn by the user at all times during use.

WARNING: Do not use this sprayer or enter the spray area if you have a pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), internal pump, or any other similar medical device. Do not use on or near electrical medical equipment.

TO REMOVE:

  1. Turn off the electrostatic function and remove the battery from the unit.
  2. Depress the latches on both sides of the battery pack to release the battery pack and remove it from the tool. For complete charging instructions, see the operator’s manuals for your battery pack and charger.

WARNING: Risk of fire or explosion. Spray area must be well ventilated and away from sparks or flames.

Power Controls

To turn the sprayer ON, depress the switch trigger.To turn the sprayer OFF, release the switch trigger.

NOTE: If the sprayer has trouble priming or won’t spray when the tank is filled, the pump has lost its prime. Insert the largest nozzle and pull the trigger. Once the spray is even and consistent, replace the nozzle with your intended size and spray as needed.

How To: Electrostatic Mode

To activate Electrostatic Mode: Press switch located on the bottom right side of the unit to ON position.

To deactivate Electrostatic Mode: Press switch located on the bottom right side of the unit to OFF position.

How-To: Replaceable Nozzle

Your Nozzle has 4 spray patterns available.

To select a spray pattern place the desired nozzle tip in the nozzle of the sprayer and tighten with the included t-handle nozzle tool

  • Red – Lowest Coverage – 40 microns
  • Black – Low Coverage – 65 microns
  • Green – Medium Coverage – 85 microns
  • Blue – High Coverage – 160 microns

Ensure the nozzle is tight in place using the include t-handle nozzle tool.

NOTE: If nozzles become clogged, see instructions in Maintenance section to clear blockage.

Using Your Sprayer

DANGER: Improper application of cleaning solution can result in SEVERE INJURY or DEATH. Follow CDC and EPA guidelines for cleaning. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s safety instructions and guidelines listed on the SDS sheet.

  1. Attach the Electrostatic Wristband to your wrist.
  2. Install the battery pack into the tool.
  3. Direct the sprayer nozzle directly at the surface areas you wish to treat.
  4. Depress the switch trigger to begin spraying.
  5. Spray on a dry surface using long, even, overlapping strokes.
  6. Release the trigger to stop the spray.
  7. Always empty, clean, and drain the tank after every use as directed in the Maintenance section.
  8. Thoroughly clean the sprayer before storing or before switching to a different chemical. See Cleaning the Unit later in this manual.NOTE: Wipe the outside of the tank with a dry cloth and clean up any spills before inserting the tank.
  9. When you are finished with the sprayer, thoroughly wash your hands and any area where skin has been exposed to the mist.
  10. Make sure electrostatic function is turned off.
  11. Remove the battery pack and thoroughly clean the sprayer before transporting or storing the unit and before switching to a different chemical. See Cleaning Section later in this manual.
Safety Guidelines
  • Never point the spray end of the sprayer at yourself or others.
  • Avoid spraying on windy days. Mist can be accidentally blown onto plants or objects that should not be sprayed.
  • Never point sprayer in the direction of people or animals; always direct downwind.
  • Especially in warmer weather, use sprayer in the early morning or late afternoon. Excessive heat can evaporate the mist before it settles.
  • Never smoke, eat, or drink while operating the sprayer. ·Do not touch the nozzle when sprayer is in operation.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, call customer service at 1-888-768-2014 prior to continuing use.

This product contains no serviceable parts. Call 1-888-768-2014 for Customer Service.

WARNING: To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack from the tool when cleaning or performing any maintenance.

WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side shields or goggles marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in fluids entering your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.

NOTICE: Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not operate this product until all missing or damaged parts are replaced. Please contact customer service or an authorized service center for assistance.

General Maintenance

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

WARNING: Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.

After Care and Cleaning
  1. Turn off the electrostatic function and remove the battery from the unit.
  2. Remove the tank and unscrew the cap.
  3. Drain the contents of the tank through the fill area.NOTE: Drain the contents back into the original container. Do not store chemicals in the tank.

WARNING: Always store and dispose of chemicals properly. Disposal of contaminated rinse water should be performed according to local ordinances and bylaws. Draining the tank: If there is any liquid left in the tank after spraying, the tank should be drained before cleaning.

CLEANING THE TANK AND SPRAY LINES:

Ensure the Electrostatic function is turned OFF and the battery is removed.

  1. Fill the tank about one-third full with clean water. A small amount of mild household detergent may be added.IMPORTANT: Never use flammable chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the tank.
  2. Wipe the outside of the tank with a clean, dry cloth.
  3. Replace the cap. Reinstall the tank and latch to secure.
  4. Reinstall the battery pack. Spray until the tank has been emptied. Make sure to direct the spray toward an area that will not be damaged by the spray solution.
  5. Refill and repeat the procedure with clean water. It may be necessary to rinse the tank more than once, then drain again as directed above.
  6. Allow all pieces to completely dry before reinstalling parts and storing the unit.IMPORTANT: DO NOT store the sprayer on its side.
Installing and Removing the Nozzles
  1. Release the trigger and stop spraying.
  2. Turn off the electrostatic function and remove the battery from the unit.
  3. Allow the unit to rest for approximately 5 minutes before attempting to remove or replace the nozzle tip in the nozzle.
TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE NOZZLE TIPS:

NOTE: Ensure the Electrostatic function is turned OFF and the battery is removed.

  1. Use the included t-handle to remove the nozzle tip in place in the nozzle.
  2. Use the t-handle to replace the new nozzle tip in the nozzle.
CLEANING THE NOZZLES:
  1. If the nozzles becomes clogged, remove the nozzle tip.
  2. Soak entire nozzle tip in warm soapy water.
  3. If clogs persist, follow the instructions above for removing nozzles.
  4. Soak the nozzle in warm, soapy water then blow out with pressurized air to remove the blockage.

NOTE: When not properly cleaned, the sprayer nozzles may develop residual chemical build up. This could result in decreased pressure and spray patterns. To reduce the chance of blockage, spray a tank of water through the unit after each use to rinse out any residual chemical build up that may have occurred.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

REMOVING/REPLACING THE ANTI-STATIC STRAP:

The anti-static strap should not be worn while performing maintenance.

TO REMOVE THE STRAP:
  1. Turn electrostatic function off and remove the battery from the unit.
  2. Use a T15 bit (not included) to remove the two cover screws.
  3. Remove the cover.
  4. Detach the snap connector.
TO REPLACE THE STRAP:
  1. Attach the strap to the unit by attaching the snap connector to the snap fastener.
  2. Reinstall the cover.
  3. Tighten the cover screws.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, call customer service at 1-888-768-2014 prior to continuing use. This product contains no serviceable parts. Call 1-888-768-2014 for Customer Service.

3 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTYIf this product is not as warranted, contact TTI Floor Care North America Customer Service at 1-888-768-2014. Please have available the proof of purchase and model number for the warranted product.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERSWhen used and maintained in normal Commercial use and in accordance with the Owner’s Guide, your HOOVER® Commercial Sprayer is warranted against original defects in material and workmanship for 3 Years from date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). During the Warranty Period, Hoover Commercial will provide labor and parts, at no cost to you, to correct any such defect in your Electrostatic Sprayer that was purchased in the United States, at a U.S. Military Exchange, or in Canada. Hoover Commercial also reserves the right to provide you with a replacement product(s) or refund, in Hoover Commercial’s discretion, in order to satisfy the terms of this warranty.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIMIf this product is not as warranted, take or send the product to a HOOVER Commercial Authorized Warranty Service Dealer along with proof of purchase which includes the date of purchase (for example, a receipt or a bill of sale). WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVERCertain parts for your HOOVER® Commercial product receive normal wear in the ordinary course of use. On your Sprayer these items include motors, pumps, nozzles, and tanks. Normal use wear and tear on these parts are not covered by this Warranty. This Warranty also does not cover: improper maintenance of the product, damage due to misuse, acts of God, nature, vandalism or other acts beyond the control of Hoover Commercial, owner’s acts or omissions, use outside the country in which the product was initially purchased, resale of the product by the original owner, defects or damages caused by repair, or alteration by anyone other than an Authorized Hoover Commercial Warranty Service Dealer. Hoover Commercial reserves the right to inspect any alleged defective product and make final decisions on any warranty claim. This warranty does not cover pick up, delivery, transportation or house calls. However, if you mail your product to a Hoover® Commercial Authorized Warranty Service Dealer for warranty service, cost of shipping will be paid one way.

OTHER IMPORTANT TERMSThis Warranty is not transferable and may not be assigned. This Warranty shall be governed and construed under the laws of the state of North Carolina. The Warranty Period will not be extended by any replacement or repair performed under this Warranty. THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REMEDY PROVIDED BY HOOVER COMMERCIAL. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED. IN NO EVENT WILL HOOVER BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR NATURE TO OWNER OR ANY PARTY CLAIMING THROUGH OWNER, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT OR STRICT PRODUCTS LIABILITY OR ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER. Some states do not allow the exclusion of consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights; you may also have others that vary from state to state.
