IKEA HÖNEFOSS Mirror 18×21 cm10 Pack User Manual
Self-adhesive mirror
Note: The surface can be damaged when removing mirror tiles from the wall.
- The mirror tiles fix to most surfaces which are even.
- Fixing mirror tiles to ceilings and sloping ceilings is not recommended.
- The mirror tiles can be used in bathrooms, but should not be fixed where they come into direct contact with water, since water may damage the adhesive.
- On porous surfaces like plywood and fibreboard, adhesion can be improved if the surface is first coated with high-gloss lacquer.
- Wipe the wall surface so that it is clean and dry before fixing the mirror tiles.
- Wipe the back of the mirror tile so that it is clean and dry before sticking the tape on it.
- Remove the tape from the protective paper without touching the adhesive. Then position and fix the tape a few millimetres away from the edge of the mirror tile.
- Loosen the protective paper on the tape without touching the adhesive. Then press the mirror tile in place on the wall. Remember to position and fix the mirror tile correctly from the start since the tape cannot be reused.
If you fix several mirror tiles next to each other, there should be a distance of at least 1 mm between each mirror tile.
