Charger features

This rechargeable torch charges when it’s in the charger and automatically turns on during a power failure, ensuring that you always have lighting.

Instructions for use

  • Connect the charger into the wall socket, insert recommended rechargeable batteries in the torch and put it on the charger.
  • The built-in LED indicator shines when you charge the torch, turns off when it’s fully charged and blinks if something is wrong, for example if you insert the wrong kind of batteries.

Good to know

  • During a power failure, the torch provides 30% brightness. Press the button 1 time for 100% brightness (200 lumen) and 2 times to turn it off.
  • Devices may get warm during charging. This is completely normal and they will gradually cool down again after they are fully charged.
  • Charger storage temperature: -20°C to 25°C 4°F to 77°F).
  • Charger operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
  • Unplug the charger from the power source before cleaning and when it is not in use.
  • Batteries are sold separately. Recommended 3 pieces IKEA type LADDA rechargeable battery 2450 mAh HR6 AA 1.2V.
  • Do not mix batteries of different capacities, types or date stamps.
  • When using recommended batteries, the torch provides light for 3 hours when fully charged and at 100% brightness.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To clean the charger, wipe with a soft dry cloth.Never submerge the charger in water.To clean the rechargeable torch wipe clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry with a soft cloth.NOTE!Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents as this can damage the product.Save these instructions for future use.

  • Use the torch only with 1.2V AA NiMH rechargeable batteries. Use of any other type of battery may create a risk of injury and fire.

  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the batteries or torch outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions.Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
  • To reduce the risk of injury, do not stare at the operating lamp. Serious eye injury could occur.
  • To reduce the risk of injury, the user must read the instruction manual.
  • Only use the charger in dry locations.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.
  • If the charger is damaged it shall be destroyed.
