The Bluetooth Media Button puts media control your fingertips with a single press of a button. Attach the button to tour steering wheel or dashboard to safely and conveniently control multimedia functions even when your smartphone is out of reach. Play/pause, forward/backtrack, and adjust volume even while your phone is in your pocket, purse, plugged into the wall, or up to 40 feet away!

Compatibility

Apple iOS devices supporting Bluetooth 3.0 and later;Android devices that support OS or later.

Pairing Between Bluetooth Media Button and your Smart Device.

  1. Make sure Bluetooth is “on” your smartphone.
  2. Press and hold the “Pairing Button” on the back of product until the LED Is blue and blinking.
  3. Check for “BTOOO5” on the list of detected devices.
  4. Select “BTOO5” and wait for the pop up menu.
  5. Tap the “Pair” button on the pop up menu.

Using Multimedia Functions

  1. Open native audio or video apps.
  2. To play/pause.
  3. Adjust volume and skip tracks.

Deleting and Re-Pairing your BTOO5

  1. Press the “Pairing” button on your BTOO5 until LED light turns on.
  2. Press and hold the “Pairing button longer than 3 seconds till blue LED light blinks.Previously paired data will be deleted and it is now ready to be paired to a new device.
  3. It is required to back to the Bluetooth setting menu and click the “Forget device” for the “BTOO5” Media Button”:

Troubleshooting

  1. Unable to control media
    1. Manually press “play” In the media app you wish to use, then retry the remote functions.
    2. Try deleting and re-pairing the remote, as described above.
  2. Remote does not wake from sleep mode
    1. Press and hold the center button for several seconds. Check for the blue LED to Indicate the remote has woken up.
    2. Try deleting and re-pairing the remote, as described above.
    3. Check and replace the CR2016 battery, if necessary.
  3. Unable to pair remote with device.
    1. Check that the device’s Bluetooth antenna is switched on.
    2. Check and replace the CR2016 battery, if necessary.
