Installing the Software
- Insert the CD into the disk drive of your computer. If the wizard does not start automatically, please open the Driver in disk C /
- Once opened, follow the steps in the installation until the message “The Installation of the AIT Driver is finished”.
- The software has been properly installed.
- Conect the camera
- Insert the CD into the disk drive.
- Connect the camera through the USB port on your computer.
- Your computer will alert you of the new hardware that requires installation. Please choose the “Install automatically” option and click on “Next”.
- Windows will open a message with the text “The program failed the Windows Test”. This only means that Windows does not recognize the software. Click on Next and then on Finish to complete the installation.
Using the Camera
- Connectthe endoscopic camera to the computer through the USB port. You can use it as a webcam.
- Click on “Start”, “Desktop”, “VGA SoC PC-Camera” to open the camera software and watch the images it records.
- Other instant messaging programs also recognize the endoscopic camera.
- Other programs like Instant Messengers know the endoscopic camera as well: Snapshot-Button, FocusControl, Snapshot-Function.
- When you press the “Snapshot” button, a picture will be taken and the program “SnapShot Reader” will automatically open to display it.
The “SnapShot Reader” button will help you organize and store the pictures. Among the features:
- Save File: Saves the picture
- Exit: Exit the program
- Rotate Orientation: You can rotate the picture around.
- Help: Copyright and serial number of the program.
- Focus: Can control the focus through the button “Control” of the endoscopic camera.
User Program
- Start User Program to set more options.
- To start this program you must open the AMCAP software. The link is created on your desktop after the installation is complete. If you have not created the link, you can create one by clicking on “Start”, “All the Programs”, “AITTelescope Driver”, “AMCap”.
- Set Capture File: Creates an AVI file to store your camera recordings.
- Allocate File Space: Choose how much memory your pictures can take.
- Save Captured Videos: Choose where you want to store your videos.
- Exit: Close the program.
- Choose Devices: when the device is connected, you will be able to decide to use this program to work. Choose “VGA SoC PC-Camera” if the endoscopic camera must work with this program.
- Options
- Preview: Decide if you want to see a preview of the picture in the program.
- Audio Capture Filter: You can open a window to adjust the “Audio Options”.
- Video Capture Filter: You can open a window to adjust the brightness, contrast, etc …
Click on «Advanced Options» to adjust special filters and backgrounds.Note: The function “Face Pursuit” is shown on the menu but the endoscopic camera does not allow this function.Open a window to set “Single-Picture Rate” and change the range of color and picture size.Capture Start: Takes a picture.Set Frame Rate: Adjusts the frames and sets a time limit for the pictures.Help: You will see the name, copyright and serial number of the program.
