SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Riding the scooter can be dangerous. During ride can accrue dangerous situations, which can lead to fall or crash and lead to serious or deadly injuries. RIDING THE SCOOTER IS NOT DIFFERENT FROM RIDING OTHER VEHICLES AND CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH EVEN IF ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WERE MET.

  • One person can use the product at the same time. Maximum weight limit: 100 kg.
  • Category: EN 14619:2015
  • Children can use the scooter under adult supervision.
  • Ride the scooter on safe places i.e. flat, dry surface with enough free space without any obstacles, stones or gravel. Do not ride on places where are motorized vehicles.
  • Before ride check the handlebars, tightness of bolts and tightening levers, securing the folding mechanism and securing the safety lock for handles in handlebars and fastening and working of the wheels. All parts must be properly secured and show no signs of mechanical damage.
  • Always wear protective gear ­ helmets, protectors of knees, elbows and wrists.
  • Do not ride during reduced visibility (night or dusk) or during humid or cold weather.
  • After riding check all parts (mainly fastening parts) and make sure they are tighten properly, not broken, dirty from clay, oil, surface and does and does not show signs of wear. Before every ride, the scooter must be fully functional.
  • Get familiar with local regulations and regulations before riding on public roads.
  • Do not overestimate yourself and pay extra attention while riding.
  • Use sports shoes to ride. Do not drive barefoot or while wearing open shoe. Be careful not to stuck shoelace into the wheels.
  • Avoid wet surfaces, sand, gravel, slowing thresholds and other obstacles that could cause the wheels to be stuck. Especially dangerous is to cross over the thresholds, always avoid them.
  • Do not ride on motorways and pay attention to pedestrians, cyclists or other transport vehicles. Use the scooter in safe places without any obstacles. Threat to safety can be columns, curbs, hydrants, parked vehicles and surrounding vehicles.
  • This scooter is not designed to ride through obstacles, jump, ride on uneven surfaces (paving blocks, field roads, etc.). Warranty claims caused by wrong use will not be addressed to. The brake and rear wheel cover (mudguard) are used to stop. When it is pressed, the scooter will slow down until it stops. The brakes are hot after braking, do not touch them.

BEFORE AND AFTER USE

  • Be sure that all locking mechanisms are properly secured. · Check the height of the handlebars, tightening the nuts, perpendicular the handlebar and front wheel.
  • Check fastening systems: the handlebar quick-release system, the wheel axes must be properly adjusted and not damaged.
  • The minimum handle height must be set to the lowest position so that the latch is in the lowestslot.
  • Check the wear of wheels.

USE AND BRAKING

  • The scooter should be used with caution, as it requires a great skill of riding. It requires riding skills and maintaining body balance to avoid falls and accidents that cause injuries to the user and others.
  • The user is standing on the board (rack), push by foot from ground and controls the handlebars. Regularly change the pushing leg.
  • Hold both handles (both hands) while driving. Reduce the speed when you turn, or you are not riding straight, and you are in danger of losing balance.

  • Do not leave the scooter while riding. · The speed-reducing mechanism is heated when it is in use. Therefore, always release itcompletely after each braking. For the same reasons, it is also not advisable to touch the braking mechanism immediately after stopping.
  • Beginners should begin using a scooter under the supervision of another (adult) person to help maintain balance etc.
  • Before attempting to ride, try the scooter controls to prevent falls etc.
  • When riding downhill, the braking distance is increased, and the level of safety is reduced. The rider must always move at such a speed to be able to stop in time and safe.

After each use, make sure that all screws are tightened so that the handlebars do not brake.WARNING: The supplied accessories are compatible with the frame, fork and other parts. Accessories from other manufacturers may not be compatible. Do not interfere with the construction of the scooter, it could reduce its safety. Contact your dealer for replacement or repair of any part.

ADJUSTING THE BRAKES

Brakes are setup by nut.

ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF HANDLEBARS

Open the lever for mounting the handlebar and adjust the height. When you adjust the height lock the lever for mounting the handlebar. Tightness of the lever is adjusted by the nut.WARNING: BEFORE ANY RIDE, CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE SCOOTER, ADJUSTMENT OF THE RIDING SYSTEM AND MAKE SURE ALL PARTS ARE SECURED AND FUNCTIONAL. REGULARLY CHECKING THE SCOOTER AND WITH RIGHT MAINTENANCE YOU REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURIES. After each use, make sure that all screws are tightened so that the handlebars do not brake.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Safety can only be guaranteed by proper maintenance.

  • Bearings: Ensure that you are not riding on water, oil or sand, as damage to the bearings may occur. To keep the bearings in good condition, check regularly that the wheels are rotating correctly – turn the scooter and turn the wheel with your fingers. If they do not rotate, they must be removed and verified. First unscrew the wheel axle, take out the axle, take apart the wheel and gently push out both bearings. If they are broken or compressed, you need to buy new ones. If no damage is visible, they must be oiled. In this case, remove any grease, dirt or dust from the bearings using a paper towel or cloth, lubricate the bearings with a self-lubricating spray or grease. Attach the bearings, axles and wheels on the scooter. In the same way continue with the other wheel.
  • Wheels: Wheels are worn or can be rustled if they are often used on a rough surface. In particular, the rear wheel that is used for braking. It is recommended to check them regularly and replace them for safety purposes.
  • Product modifications: The original product cannot be modified, except if the modification is mentioned in this maintenance manual.
  • Nuts, axles and other self-locking clamping systems: It is recommended to check them regularly. They may be either loosen after a while, in which case they need to be tightened again or lose their effectiveness, in which case they should be replaced as new ones.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

After the product lifespan expired or if the possible repairing is uneconomic, dispose it according to the local laws and environmentally friendly in the nearest scrapyard. By proper disposal you will protect the environment and natural sources. Moreover, you can help protect human health. If you are not sure in correct disposing, ask local authorities to avoid law violation or sanctions. Don’t put the batteries among house waste but hand them in to the recycling place.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY, WARRANTY CLAIMS

General Conditions of Warranty and Definition of Terms

All Warranty Conditions stated hereunder determine Warranty Coverage and Warranty Claim Procedure. Conditions of Warranty and Warranty Claims are governed by Act No. 89/2012 Coll. Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., Consumer Protection, as amended, also in cases that are not specified by these Warranty rules. The seller is SEVEN SPORT s.r.o. with its registered office in Borivojova Street 35/878, Prague 13000, Company Registration Number: 26847264, registered in the Trade Register at Regional Court in Prague, Section C, Insert No. 116888. According to valid legal regulations it depends whether the Buyer is the End Customer or not. “The Buyer who is the End Customer” or simply the “End Customer” is the legal entity that does not conclude and execute the Contract in order to run or promote his own trade or business activities. “The Buyer who is not the End Customer” is a Businessman that buys Goods or uses services for the purpose of using the Goods or services for his own business activities. The Buyer conforms to the General Purchase Agreement and business conditions. These Conditions of Warranty and Warranty Claims are an integral part of every Purchase Agreement made between the Seller and the Buyer. All Warranty Conditions are valid and binding, unless otherwise specified in the Purchase Agreement, in the Amendment to this Contract or in another written agreement.

Warranty ConditionsWarranty PeriodThe Seller provides the Buyer a 24 months Warranty for Goods Quality, unless otherwise specified in the Certificate of Warranty, Invoice, Bill of Delivery or other documents related to the Goods. The legal warranty period provided to the Consumer is not affected. By the Warranty for Goods Quality, the Seller guarantees that the delivered Goods shall be, for a certain period of time, suitable for regular or contracted use, and that the Goods shall maintain its regular or contracted features.The Warranty does not cover defects resulting from (if applicable):

  • User’s fault, i.e. product damage caused by unqualified repair work, improper assembly, insufficient insertion of seat post into frame, insufficient tightening of pedals and cranks
  • Improper maintenance
  • Mechanical damages
  • Regular use (e.g. wearing out of rubber and plastic parts, moving mechanisms, joints etc.)
  • Unavoidable event, natural disaster
  • Adjustments made by unqualified person
  • Improper maintenance, improper placement, damages caused by low or high temperature, water, inappropriate pressure, shocks, intentional changes in design or construction etc.

Warranty Claim ProcedureThe Buyer is obliged to check the Goods delivered by the Seller immediately after taking the responsibility for the Goods and its damages, i.e. immediately after its delivery. The Buyer must check the Goods so that he discovers all the defects that can be discovered by such check. When making a Warranty Claim the Buyer is obliged, on request of the Seller, to prove the purchase and validity of the claim by the Invoice or Bill of Delivery that includes the product’s serial number, or eventually by the documents without the serial number. If the Buyer does not prove the validity of the Warranty Claim by these documents, the Seller has the right to reject the Warranty Claim. If the Buyer gives notice of a defect that is not covered by the Warranty (e.g. in the case that the Warranty Conditions were not fulfilled or in the case of reporting the defect by mistake etc.), the Seller is eligible to require a compensation for all the costs arising from the repair. The cost shall be calculated according to the valid price list of services and transport costs.If the Seller finds out (by testing) that the product is not damaged, the Warranty Claim is not accepted. The Seller reserves the right to claim a compensation for costs arising from the false Warranty Claim. In case the Buyer makes a claim about the Goods that is legally covered by the Warranty provided by the Seller, the Seller shall fix the reported defects by means of repair or by the exchange of the damaged part or product for a new one. Based on the agreement of the Buyer, the Seller has the right to exchange the defected Goods for a fully compatible Goods of the same or better technical characteristics. The Seller is entitled to choose the form of the Warranty Claim Procedures described in this paragraph. The Seller shall settle the Warranty Claim within 30 days after the delivery of the defective Goods, unless a longer period has been agreed upon. The day when the repaired or exchanged Goods is handed over to the Buyer is considered to be the day of the Warranty Claim settlement. When the Seller is not able to settle the Warranty Claim within the agreed period due to the specific nature of the Goods defect, he and the Buyer shall make an agreement about an alternative solution. In case such agreement is not made, the Seller is obliged to provide the Buyer with a financial compensation in the form of a refund.
