Oprational Instructions
- Plug unit into a standard grounding 15A wall receptacle. Unit is not intended for use with 20A or GFCI wall receptacles.
- Make sure electronic equipment is turned off before plugging it into the surge unit outlets.
- Unit provides surge protection up to 300 Joules.
- A glowing blue indicator light shows that surge protection is being provided. Check indicator light periodically (See NOTE).NOTE:
- This device features an internal protection that will disconnect the surge-protective component at the end of its useful life, but will maintain power to the load – now unprotected.
- If the blue “protected” indicator light goes out, this unit will no longer provide surge protection as intended and should be replaced. This device is not a lightning arrestor, so it will not provide protection when lightning strikes nearby, power lines, the house, service entrance, or antennas.
- 4.2 Amp total output allows you to charge 2 tablets, or one tablet and two smartphones at full capacity at the same time. Recharge your device at a maximum speed of 2.1 Amp when connected to a single port.
NOTE: USB charging ports may not charge all devices. Some devices require a proprietary power supply.
USB Indicator Feature:
LED color changes to indicate the charging status of your device charged through the USB ports.

Light will change from Red to Green when the device is 95-100% charged and remain Green until fully charged.This product is designed to limit damage to electronic devices from electrical surges of less than 300 Joules. The sensitivity of electronic devices to electrical surges varies, and this product may not protect electrical surges greater than 300 Joules, such as from lightning strikes. Please consult the manufacturer of devices plugged into this product and/or a licensed electrician to confirm recommended surge protection levels for all your devices prior to use
