iPolar Installation – SkyGuider
Either iPolar #3339 or #3339R can be used for SkyGuider Camera Mount #3500. It will be installed at the back of the mount to replace the optical polar scope (internal/rear mounting.) If you want to keep the optical polar scope, you can order #3339-025 and refer to CEM25 instruction for installation. The front polar axle hole on the DEC bracket needs be enlarged.
Only a 1.5mm hex key is needed
- Unthread polar scope cover.
- Find the polar scope locking screw and use 1.5mm hex key to release it slightly and pull out the polar scope.
- Insert the iPolar into the RA axis. Lock the set screw gently to secure the iPolar
