Please read the instructions and warnings carefully before use to ensure safe and satisfactory operation of this product.
Warnings* If the flexible cable of this product is damaged it should be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.* To prevent electrocution switch off at the mains supply before assembling or maintaining this fitting. Ensure the plug is not connected to any power supply and read instruction before assembly.* This product is fitted with a 3 amp fuse and is suitable for 240 volt ring mains.* Always be sure to use the correct type and wattage of bulbs as indicated on the fitting. Never exceed the wattage stated.* When changing the bulb, ensure product is unplugged and allow the old bulb to cool down before handling. Dispose of used bulbs carefully.
Floor Lamp Assembly Instructions
Unpack the lamp and remove all packaging. Be careful not to scratch surfaces of the stem when removing plastic wrapping. Also ensure base is not scratched by the ends of the stems or mains plug.
Ensure all cable protection inserts at the ends of the stems are removed so the stems can be assembled together. Lay the product out on the floor. If there is no carpet, cover the floor with a soft cloth so as not to scratch the finish of the light or the floor.
Step 1: Screw the upper stem onto lamp holder section by rotating the stem only take care not to twist the wiring.
Step 2: Gently pull the excess cable through the base until the stems meet the sockets on the base. Firmly locate the stems to the bottom of these sockets and then secure using the Allen Key provided. Stand the Lamp upright and ensure all assembled parts are fully tightened.
Step 3: To fit the shade: remove the shade ring from the lamp head then fit lamp shade and secure in place with shade ring.
Step 4: Fit bulb, type and wattage as indicated on fitting. The wattage indicated must not be exceeded. (bulb not included)
Table Lamp Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Gently pull the excess cable from the base until the stems locate into the sockets on the base. Firmly locate the stems into the bottom of these sockets and then secure using the Allen Key provided. Stand the lamp upright and ensure it is secure.
Step 2: To fit the shade: remove the shade ring from the lamp head then fit lamp shade and secure in place with shade ring.
Step 3: Fit bulb, type and wattage as indicated on fitting. The wattage indicated must not be exceeded. (bulb not included)
