OPERATION:

Turn ON – PRESS and HOLD the MODE/ON key and DOWN key simultaneously for 3 seconds.Turn OFF – It shuts off automatically after 3 minutes of idle time.

  1. User Profile (Recommended): Press MODE/ON key, “NO. 1” icon is flashing, press UP or DOWN key to choose user 1 or 2, then press SET key to confirm.[Illustration showing close up of user profile display]
  2. Height (Recommended): Press MODE/ON key, field displays “FT IN”, press SET key so Feet Position icon is flashing, then press UP or DOWN key to adjust feet. Press SET key so Inches Position icon is flashing, then press UP or DOWN key to adjust inches. (Default height: 5 feet)[Illustration showing close up of height display]
  3. Weight (Recommended): Press MODE/ON key until “WT” icon displays, press SET key, then press UP or DOWN key to adjust weight (Default weight: 150 lbs, weight range 0 – 330 lbs)[Illustration showing close up of weight display]
  4. Target Jumps Alert (Optional): Press MODE/ON key until display “T1”, then press SET key, thousandths digit and hundredths digit are flashing, press UP or DOWN key to adjust and then press SET key to confirm. Repeat for tenths digit and ones digit while flashing, using UP or DOWN key to adjust, then press SET key to confirm. When the user reaches their target number of jumps, the unit will alert the user with a “beep beep” sound.[Illustration showing close up of target jumps alert display]
  5. Target Jump Time Alert (Optional): Press MODE/ON key until lower right LCD displays “T2”, then press SET key causing minutes to flash, press UP or DOWN key to adjust. Then press SET key, causing the seconds to flash, press UP or DOWN key to adjust, then press SET key to confirm. When the user reaches their workout time goal, the unit will alert the user with a “beep beep” sound.[Illustration showing close up of target jump time alert display]
  6. Stop Watch (Optional): Press MODE/ON key until the lower right LCD displays “STW”, press UP to start, then press UP again to stop. Press SET to reset the stopwatch.[Illustration showing close up of stop watch display]
  7. Jump Snap Sound Effect (Recommended): If the Jump Rope Icon is seen in the upper right LCD then the unit is set to make the snapping sound. If not shown, press MODE/ON key until the Jump Rope Icon is flashing in the upper right LCD, press SET key to confirm, then the unit will start the sound effect with each rotation. To mute the sound, follow the same steps again until the Jump Rope Icon disappears.[Illustration showing close up of Jump Snap sound effect display]
  8. AUTO/MANUAL Talking Mode (Optional): Press and hold the TALK key for 3 seconds when speaker icon displays in the upper right LCD, then it is in the MANUAL talking mode. The user must press the TALK key to hear a workout summary. For AUTO mode, press and hold the TALK key for 3 seconds until the speaker icon with sound waves displays, then it is in the AUTO talking mode. The user will automatically receive a workout summary 5 seconds after stopping.[Illustration showing close up of auto/manual talking mode display]

Helpful Hints* Jumping Time Counter: The unit begins calculating time once the user starts jumping.* Pressing the CLEAR key, will clear the data of KCAL, steps and jumping time.* If the user waits beyond 10 seconds when setting a feature, the display will automatically switch to the default status.* If the user stops jumping for over 3 minutes, the unit will auto power off into the sleeping mode. To power on the unit again, simply press the MODE/ON and DOWN keys simultaneously for 3 seconds to return to workout data.* Press any key for blue backlight and it will stay lit for 10 seconds.* RESET key located on the back of the unit will reset all data. Simply place a thin object like a paper-clip into the designated RESET hole if this function is needed.* A KCAL is the same as a calorie.

Feature Settings SequenceThe following is a list of the features the user will see by pressing the MODE/ON key. This is the exact sequence in which they appear on the LCD. If the user makes a mistake entering a feature, there is no back button. The user must simply start over until they arrive at the feature of their choice.
