Press and hold this button to reject the call. Press this button twice to call back the last number dialed on your phone.Note:  Audio will stop and resume automatically once the call is ended.
6. Bluetooth ®  release button Press and hold this button to release Bluetooth ® connection.
7. AUX-IN cable connection interface Use this input to connect an external audio device fitted with a 3.5mm stereo output.
8. Micro-USB charging port Use this Micro-USB connector to connect to an external 5VDC power source
9. Power LED indicator This LED indicates power status
10. Microphone location Microphone location
11. Bluetooth  LED indicator This LED indicates the status of the Bluetooth ®connection.
12. Battery LED charge indicator This LED indicates the charging status of the speaker while it is powered on. Note: if the speaker is off, then only the Power LED will be active.

Basic operation

A. Charging the speaker

  • Plug one end of the supplied Micro-USB cable into the speaker’s Micro-USB port and the other end to the USB port of a 5VDC USB adapter to charge the battery.
  • The battery takes around 4 hours to fully charge.
  • Make sure that the speaker is fully charged before using it for the first time.
  • While the speaker is being charged the power LED indicator glows red with the speaker on or off.
  • Power LED glows red and the battery indicator LED’s individually flash when the speaker is on.
  • Power LED turns Off and the battery indicator LED’s lit up solid once it is fully charged when the speaker is on.

Note: If the speaker is completely discharged or has not been charged for a while, it is recommended to charge it for at least 10 minutes prior to powering on the speaker.

B. Turning the speaker units on or off

  • To turn on the speaker, press and hold the Power button for about 2 seconds.
  • The Bluetooth®indicator LED will turn on and you will hear a tone. The Bluetooth® will momentarily turn on, then flash indicating that is ready for pairing mode or becomes solid once it is paired to a device.
  • Press and hold the Power button again for 2 seconds to turn off the speaker. The Bluetooth® LED will turn off and you will hear an audio tone.

C. Using the speaker in Auxiliary mode

  • Connect one end of the 3.5mm stereo cable into the auxiliary port on the speaker.
  • Proceed to connect the other side of the 3.5mm stereo cable into the media device ofchoices, such as a laptop, MP3/4 player, smartphone or tablet.
  • Turn on the speaker. The Speaker will automatically connect to Aux-in, and you will hear a prompt.
  • If it doesn’t connect, briefly press the power button on the speaker to select the Aux-in mode or the mode of choice.
  • Select the input mode of choice using the source button on the unit.
  • Play an audio file to listen to music.

Advanced operation

Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device has the built-in Bluetooth® feature available.A. Pairing the speaker with your mobile device in Bluetooth® mode

  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Set your Bluetooth® phone to “discover” the wireless speaker.
  3. The Bluetooth® indicator LED will start blinking to indicate that the device has entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.
  4. Tap the newly discovered audio device (KBS-600) displayed on your mobile phone, in the Bluetooth® list.
  5. If you have a lower Bluetooth® version, you may be prompted to enter the passkey 0000 (4 zeros).
  6. If pairing is successful, a tone will be heard, and the LED light will turn solid blue. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps  1 through 6 described above.
  7. We recommend turning off the device when not in use. The speaker will shut off automatically after a period of inactivity, as long as it is not in the  Bluetooth® mode.

Note: The speaker will connect to Bluetooth® automatically if the device supports an automatic connection.

B. Pairing the speaker with your mobile device in TWS mode

  1. Power on the two KBS-600 speakers and make sure they are both in pairing mode.
  2. Press and hold the Multi-function button on one of the units (this one will become your master unit) for approximately 4 seconds or until you see the Bluetooth® LED stops blinking on the second unit (a tone will also be emitted). Once you hear the tone, TWS pairing was successful.Note: the master unit will remain in pairing mode.
  3. Release the multi-function button once the TWS pairing has successfully paired both speakers, as per previous step.
  4. Follow section A above to connect the master speaker to Bluetooth ®

C. Unpairing speaker from TWS modeBriefly press the power button on the master unit, the Bluetooth® LED on the second unit will start blinking (a tone will also be emitted). Once you hear the tone, TWS un-pairing was successful.

V. Using the speaker to answer or end a call

  • When there is an incoming call, the speaker will generate a tone to alert you of this event.
  • Briefly press the multifunction key to answer the call on the speaker, you can talk close to the speaker as the built-in microphone will allow clear voice reproduction. You may also press the answer button on your phone to take the call using the speaker.
  • To end a call, press the multifunction key once again. Likewise, you may also end the call directly using the command on your cell phone.Note: When listening to music using your mobile phone, playback will resume automatically once the call has ended.
  • Press the multifunction key for approximately two seconds on the speaker in order to reject an incoming call.
  • Press the multi-function button twice to call back the last number dialed on your phone.

VI. Music playbackNote: Music playback will work individually or in TWS mode.

  • Press the multi-function button to start and stop audio playback.
  • Press and hold the button to play the next track.
  • Press and hold the button to play the previous track.
  • In order to adjust the volume level, briefly press the or button.

VII. LED STATUSBattery charging LED indicator:

  • The battery indicator LED’s individually flash as it charges.
  • The battery indicator LED’s lit up solid once it is fully charged.

Bluetooth® indicator:

  • The Bluetooth® LED blinks quickly when the devices are pairing.
  • Once the pairing is successful the Bluetooth® LED indicator will become solid. It will only blink slowly when music is being played.
  • The device will power off automatically if the speaker has been inactive for more than 10 minutes, as long as the speaker is not connected to  Bluetooth®.
  • The Bluetooth® LED blinks quickly when the speaker is turned on.
  • When the speaker is in TWS mode, the Bluetooth® LED blinks, then becomes solid once paired in TWS mode.

Power LED Indicator:

  • The power LED (red) is lit during charging. After the speaker is fully charged the red LED will turn off.
  • The power LED will blink if the battery level is low.
  • The Battery indicator LEDs will blink as the unit is charging, the status of the LEDs will become solid as the charging status increases. Once all four LED’s become solid, this is an indication that the speaker is fully charged.

Troubleshooting

Problem                       Solution
The unit can’t connect to the device Re-connect/pair the speaker to your device and verify that your phone’s Bluetooth®  function is enabled.

The unit can’t connect in TWS

Both units should be turned ON and in pairing mode. Hold the multi-function button for four seconds or until you hear a tone and the LED on one unit is solid, and in the other unit the LED should remain blinking.

Precautions

  • Do NOT drop, hit or shake the device.
  • Do NOT disassemble, repair or modify the speaker yourself. It voids the warranty and may damage the product.
  • Do NOT use cleaning products that contain benzene, solvents or alcohol.
  • Do NOT expose the speaker to excessive heat or to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
  • Do NOT place heavy objects on top of the speaker.
  • Do NOT use near a microwave oven or to wireless LAN products.
  • The only charge with devices rated and marked with 5VDC to avoid damage to the speaker.
