IMPORTANT MEMORY CARD INFORMATION:A standard SD memory card is not included in the camera packaging and needsto be purchased separately. This camera takes a standard (SD/SDHC/SDXC)memory card. We recommend using a name brand memory card that is Class 4or higher and has a capacity of 4GB to 32GB. The camera is not compatible withMicro SD cards or adapters.

Inserting Battery and Memory Card
- Open the battery cover door as shown in step ① and ②
- Insert the battery into the battery compartment
- Insert the standard SD memory card into the slot
- Close the battery compartment door as shown in step ⑤ and ⑥
Setting the Language/Date/Time
- Press the power button to turn the camera on and the language menu will appear. Use the up/down/left/right buttons to select desired language and press the button to confirm the desired language
- Use the up/down/left/right buttons again to set the date and time, press the button to confirm.
Focusing and Taking a Great Photo
- Hold the camera securely and for long zoom photos, we recommend using a tri-pod for best results
- Use the zoom lever to select the Tele or Wide position to zoom in or out on your subject
- Press the shutter button down half-way to allow the camera to focus on yoursubject
- When the frame around your subject turns green and the image in the LCD is focused to your liking, continue to press the shutter button down completely to take the photo
Using the Mode Dial
This camera provides a convenient mode dial that allows you to manually switch between different camera settings with ease. Available modes are listed below:

In shooting mode, press the 
button to begin recording a video. After recording, press the button again to stop recording. The camera will store the video on the SD card and will then return to the shooting screen.
In each mode (except for the Wi-Fi mode), press the 
button to access the “Easy Menu”. Press the 
buttons to move between options, then press the

This camera can be connected to your smart device through the FREE “PIXPRO Remote Viewer” App . APP is available for iOS™ and ANDROID™ Check the SSID and password on the camera’s AP mode interface. The Wi-Fi® password for this AZ528 camera is unique and randomized to meet Federal and/or State compliance laws and standards.

The Kodak PIXPRO AZ527 is a 16.1 MP camera with a 28mm wide angle lens. The Kodak PIXPRO AZ528 is a 16.1 MP camera with a 21mm wide angle lens.
It depends on what setting you have your shots on. Mines on face beautify and portrait and its slower at taking shots because of that but regular settings is faster.
Video quality is excellent.
The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 Astro Zoom Camera is a great, simple upgrade for your Kodak. The 3” LCD produces a crisp image, with 460k pixels. For close-ups, the AZ421’s macro feature works from as close as 1.6cm away from your subject. 16MP is ample for very detailed photos and enlargements. Trusty “Auto” mode, along with 12 different scene modes are easy options if you prefer shooting without having to manually adjust a lot of the settings.
This is basically a big point-and-shoot camera with a HUGE telephoto lens, wide angle and a boatload of adjustments (shutter/aperature priority or program AE list an SLR). It has multiple focus options, but no purely manual “twist the lens” variety.
The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 is a “bridge” camera which means it bridges the gap between a compact point and shoot model and a much larger DSLR type camera. The AZ421 weighs approximately 15.6 oz., so under 1lb, not very heavy at all for a powerful 42X zoom lens and camera.
The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 does not have built-in Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Our AZ652 or AZ901 models have both and can use the FREE PIXPRO Remote Viewer app to control and/or upload photos from these two models to your phone or smart tablet.
The KODAK PIXPRO AZ421 has a “Macro” setting which is the preferred setting for super close up, detailed photos. To find the “Macro” setting, just look at the circular dial on the top right of the camera body (right next to the shutter button). It will be the “tulip” icon.
Yes it is. Just a big one with a few more features. Don’t buy bridge cameras unless you really need that telephoto (zoom) lens.
