SAFETY & WARNINGS

- The kettle is rated 220-240V-50.60Hz 1850.2200 W. Ensure to the voltage supply at your home corresponds to this.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.
- Do not place on or neor a hot gas or electric burner or in a hooted oven.
- Do not operote the kettle without anything in it to avoid damaging the heat elements.
- Ensure that the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children. this will prevent the kettle from overturning and ovoid damage or injury.
- To protect against a fire, electric shock, or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
- While water is boiling or just after the water has been boiled, avoid contacting with steam from the spout.
- Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
- Be careful of refilling when the kettle is hot.
- If the kettle is overfilled. boiling water may be ejected.
- Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.

Modes
Sleep ModeThe light bar and other button indicator lights are turned off
Standby ModeIf the kettle is placed on the base, the 100°C button indicator light and light bar are turned on.If the kettle is not placed on the base, the light bar blinks once per second. The other buttons indicator lights are turned off.
Working ModeDepending on the temperature button selected, the indicator light of that button, power button and light bar are turned on.
Keep Warm ModeDepending on the temperature button selected, the indicator light of that button, keep warm button and light bar are turned on. The power button indicator light is turned off.
Before Using Your Kettle
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before use by boiling the Max capacity of water once and then discarding the water twice. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.The maximum capacity of this kettle is 1.7 litres.
Using Kettle to Boil Water
- Place the kettle and power base on a flat surface.
- To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing down lid release button, then fill the kettle with the desired amount of water and close the lid. The water level must be within the Min and the Max level. Too little water will cause the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.Note: Do not fill the water over the ‘maximum’ line, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.
- Plug into the power outlet, the light bar blinks.
- Position the kettle on the power base, the light bar, and the 100°C button indicator light is turned on.
- If you do not want to select a pre-set temperature, you can press power button directly, then the kettle starts heating and it will boil the water to 100°C. During the heating process, the indicator lights of the 100°C button, the power button and the light bar is turned on.
- After heating, a beep can be heard. The kettle will stop working automatically.
Boiling Tips
- You can press the power button to stop the kettle during heating process.
- The kettle will enter sleep mode if you remove the kettle from the power base or no operation for more than 3 minutes during heating process. Replace the kettle on the power base and press any button, then the kettle will enter standby mode.
Using Kettle with Pre-set TemperatureYou can select a pre-set temperature using the temperature buttons. There are “70°C” or “80°C” and “90°C” for selection.
- Select a pre-set temperature, its corresponding indicator light is turned on.
- Press the power button, the kettle starts heating.
- When boiling the water to the pre-set temperature, a beep can be heard. The kettle will stop heating and enter keep-warm mode automatically.
- The kettle will keep the water warm for 30 minutes. The indicator lights of the selected temperature button, the keep warm button and light bar are turned on during this process.
- After this process, all the indicator lights are turned off and the kettle enters sleep mode. Press any button to make the kettle enter standby mode. 6. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.Note: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald. Do not open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
Pre-set Temperature Tips
- The kettle will reheat the water to the pre-set temperature and then stop heating if the water temperature is 5°C lower than the pre-set temperature during keeping warm process. For example, if the pre-set temperature is 70°C, the kettle will reheat the water to 70°C and then stop heating if the water temperature is lower than 65°C during keeping warm process.
- You can press the power button or keep warm button to stop the kettle from keeping the water warm during keeping warm process.
- Under keeping warm condition, remove the kettle from the power base for more than 3 minutes, then replace the kettle on the power base, the kettle will continue to keep the water warm based on the pre-set temperature.
General Tips
- Hold and press the power button for 2 seconds, the kettle will enter sleep mode. Press any button to make the kettle enter standby mode.
- The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.
- Always disconnect the power supply when not use.
CLEANING & CARE
Always disconnect the kettle from the power outlet and cool it down completely before cleaning.
- Never immerse/submerge the kettle, power cord or power base in water or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
- Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.
- Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter by pressing down the tab of filter inside the kettle and then replace it after cleaning.CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.
Boil-Dry ProtectionIf you accidently let the kettle operate without water, when temperature sensor detects temperature exceeding 105°C the kettle will stop heating. All of indicator lights will blink for warning, if this occurs, allow the kettle to cool prior to filling with cold water before re-boiling.
Removal of Mineral DepositsYour kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in top water may form scale on the bottom of kettle, leading to less efficient operation. You can use a commercially available descaler and follow the instructions on the package of descoler.
Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using white vinegar:
- Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount to cover the bottom of kettle completely.
- Leave the solution in the kettle overnight, then discard the solution.
- Fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum position, run to boil, and then discard the water. 4. Repeat step 3 several times until the odour of vinegar has been flushed away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
