SAFETY & WARNINGS
- Do not use this hair curler in on near the shower when the water is running. Do not use it near a bathtub or sink filled with water.
- This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way by the person responsible for their safety, and understand the hazards involved.
- When using the hair curler for the first time, there may be a slight burning odor or a thin streak of smoke. This is caused by the high temperature of the oil in the rotating mechanism of the appliance. It is normal and will disappear shortly.
- Keep the plastic case covering the curler away from infants and children to avoid suffocation.
- The hair curler is not waterproof. Do not use it in environments with high humidity or on wet hair.
- If water or other liquid enters the inner chamber, cease use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for support.
- If using a charging cable other than the one supplied with this product, ensure the cable has a charging current of 2A or more. Do not use the curler near open flames or combustible materials.
- Unplug charger once the curler is fully charged. If the curler is not being used for an extended period of time, ensure it is charged at least once every three months.
- Be careful when removing the charging cable from the charger or the hair curler.
- Do not use with any accessories or parts other than those that have been supplied with this product.
- Do not place the hair curler on surfaces that cannot withstand high temperatures.
- Avoid direct contact with the heating element. Pay close attention when using close to your eyes, ears, face and neck.
- Do not insert metal objects into the hair curler. Doing so may result in an electric shock. Do not wrap the charging cable around the hair curler after use.
- Ensure the hair curler has completely cooled down before storing it.
- Be careful when selecting the temperature and curling time. Using a high temperature or long curling time may cause damage to hair.
- If the display’s temperature symbol flashes “E” during operation, the temperature probe is not working. Cease use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for support.

OPERATION
Charging
- Insert the supplied USB charging cable into the charging port on the curler.
- Insert the USB cable into a USB power adapter (mobile phone charger).
- The battery indicator will start blinking. When the curler is fully charged the battery indicator will stop blinking.
- The LCD display will switch off when the charging cable is removed from the curler.
- When the battery is low the LCD display will blink 3 times and the curler will automatically switch off. The curler will need to be recharged.
Note: Do not use the curler while it is charging. Doing so may reduce the life of the battery.
Turning the Curler On/Off
- For best results, before using the hair curler, ensure it is fully charged.
- To turn on the curler, turn the temperature selection dial to “1”. The curler will emita “beep” and the LCD display will turn on.
- To turn the curler off, turn temperature selection dial to the off position. Note: If left inactive, the curler will automatically turn itself off after 10 minutes.
Heat & Timer Settings
1. Use the temperature selection dial to set the desired temperature:

2. Long press the menu button. The temperature will start blinking. Press the menu button to switch the temperature unit between °C and °F.3. Long press the menu button. The timer will start blinking. Press the menu button to cycle through the time options (8s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s).4. Once the desired time has been selected, the timer will blink 5 timers to confirm.5. The heating element will begin to heat within 5 seconds after temperature has been set.6. The heating indicator will blink while the curler is heating. The indicator will stop blinking once the curler reaches the selected temperature.
Tip: Low heat and a short timer will result in looser curls. Higher heat and a longer timer will result in tight curls. To achieve a more natural look, a combination of tight and loose curls is recommended.
Curling Hair
- Ensure your hair is dry and combed through to remove any tangles.
- Divide hair into small sections (1.5 – 2.5cm).
- Feed the hair from the top/root into the curling chamber then press and hold the left or right curl button depending on the direction you wish the hair to curl.
- The curler will emit a beep and the lower hair strands will be drawn into the curling chamber. The timer will begin counting down and will continue beeping slowly.
- When the preset time has been reached the curler will emit 2 quick beeps.
- Release the curl button then slowly pull the curler down and away, allowing the hair to release from curling chamber.
Note: If your hair gets caught in the curling chamber, you will hear continuous beeping. Automatic curling will stop, the motor will return to the original position and the curler will turn off automatically. Pressing the opposite direction curl button will release your hair from the curler.
When using the left curl button, insert hair into curling chamber from the left.
When using the right curl button, insert hair into curling chamber from the right.
CLEANING & CARE
- Allow the hair curler to completely cool down before cleaning or storing it away.
- Clean the hair curler using a soft, damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Dry the curler thoroughly using a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not put the hair curler in a dishwasher or washing machine.
- Do not immerse the hair curler in water or any other liquid.
- The hair curler it not waterproof. When cleaning, ensure that water or other liquid does not enter the curling chamber. Doing so may cause permanent damage and lead to electric shock.
- Always remove any hair, dust and dander left in the curling chamber after use.
