OPERATION
- Remove the appliance and accessories from the box. Discard the protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Slicing adjustment knob to choose the desired cutting width.
- The cutting width is adjustable from 1 to 15 mm.
- Slide the cradle to the left and place the food on the cradle.
- Place the slicing guard on the cradle. Use the slicing guard to push the food slightly against the back cover.
WARNING: Never use the meat slicer without the slicing guard.
- This appliance is equipped with a safety switch, first, bring the safety switch towards yourself then push simultaneously the power switch and the appliance will start. By pushing the power switch again the appliance will stop.
- Slide the cradle slowly to the right against the rotating blade. Capture the sliced food at the back of the device.
WARNING: Never touch the blade, the blade is very sharp and can cause severe injury.
- When finished turn the meat slicer off. The blade will continue turning for a while. Do not touch the blade until it has come to a complete stop.
- After 5 minutes of continuous use, turn off the device and allow it to cool down, to prevent the motor from overheating.
CLEANING & CARE
After use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe appliance surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit.
Removing the cutting blade
- Before removing the blades, remove the power cord from the outlet
- Do not touch the edges of the blades.
- Push the button in the middle of the cutting blade, a latch will come out; turn the latch clockwise to unlock and remove the cutting blade.
- Ensure the removed blade cannot roll off the table. Keep children away from the blade.
- Clean the blade in soapy water, the blade is also dishwasher safe.
- When placing the blade back in position, ensure the tabs on the blade match the recesses in the appliance.
- Lock the blade in place by turning the latch counterclockwise.
Cleaning the leading rod and cradle
- To disassemble the cradle, slide the latch at the right side of the leading rod to the right
- Remove the leading rod and food cradle.
- Clean the leading rod and food cradle in soapy water.
