SAFETY & WARNINGS

  •  Read all instructions before using the appliance and retain this guide for reference.
  •  Be sure to use it on a heat-resistant and even surface, such as a heatproof mat. Do not place directly on a benchtop. Keep the appliance at least 30cm away from the wall, furniture, or other flammables.
  •  Do not touch hot surfaces. The temperature of the outer surface can get very hot while the appliance is in operation. Always use oven gloves when handling hot materials and allow metal parts to cool before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool thoroughly before removing parts. Always use the handles when moving the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance for other than its intended indoor household use.
  •  To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse this appliance, cord set or plug in water or any other liquid.
  •  The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or any type of separate remote control system.
  •  The use of accessories that are not recommended or supplied by Kogan may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
  •  Do not use an extension cord unless completely necessary with this product. If an extension cord is used please ensure that it has a rating equal to or exceeding the rating of this appliance.
  • Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on the cord or pull cord around sharp edges or comers. Keep cordfrom heated surfaces.
  • Do not bend or damage the power cord.
  •  Always unplug the appliance when not in use. To disconnect from the power supply, grip the plug and pull from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord. The plug must be removed from the wall outlet before cleaning, servicing, maintenance or moving the appliance.
  •  Never force the plug into an outlet.
  •  Do not place the appliance near a hot gas or electric burner.
  •  Do not cover the appliance while in use. If it is covered, there is a risk of fire.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

OPERATION

  1. Insert the power cable into the earthed power socket.
  2.  Pull the fryer basket out from the appliance.
  3.  Place food ingredients into the fryer basket (do not exceed the maximum line or maximum weight).
  4. Push the fryer basket back into the appliance.
  5.  Select the appropriate mode by pressing the “Mode” button or leaving it in the default manual mode
  6. If in manual mode adjust the cooking temperature using the “+” and “-” buttons on the left-hand side of the control panel, denoted by the temperature symbol. Adjust the cooking time using the “+” and “-” buttons on the right-hand side of the control panel, denoted by the time/clock symbol.
  7.  Press the Start/Stop button to start the cooking process. Cooking can be stopped at a time by pressing the Start/Stop button (The temperate and time will need to be reset if cooking if stopped before the intended time limit).
  8.  If the stirring function is required press the “Stir” button to start stirring.
  9. When the appliance beeps 5 times, cooking is completed and the food is ready to serve. Remove the basket, place on a heat-resistant surface, and serve.

Note:For better cooking results, turn over the ingredients by shaking the basket in the middle of the cooking process.

First Use

  1.  Remove all the packing materials.
  2. Take out the frying pan and frying basket remove packing bags.
  3.  Clean the frying pan and frying basket with warm water, wipe the inside and outside of the electric baking oven with a wet cloth immersed in detergent, when it is completely dry then use it.
  4. Place the electric baking oven on an even and stable surface.
  5. There should be enough space around the electric baking oven to ensure that its surface to other items keeps at least 10cm distance, the air outlet cannot place any items.
  6.  For the first time, it is necessary to preheat the electric baking oven for 5 minutes in order to remove the residual oil left from the manufacturing process. (Refer to the Preheating section below).
  7. There may be a bad smell when first-time use, this is normal, and it is not the electric baking oven failure

PreheatingTo preheat set the cooking time and temperature first, then press the “Stir” button, the preheating indicator lamp will light up. Press the “Start/Stop“ button and the machine will work for 5 minutes and keep preheating state. After the preheating is completed, put in your foods, close the upper cover of the machine, press the “Start/Stop” button again, and the machine enters the working state.

COOKING TIPS

  •  For better baking, it is recommended to preheat 5 minutes before using
  • Some of the foods can be wrapped by the foil for better baking;
  •  Time can be adjusted according to personal tastes, to observe from the window to avoid food scorched.
  • While continuous baking the previous uses pan should be clean up, so as to avoid next time baking producing burning smoke or affect the appearance of food.

CLEANING & CARE

CleaningUnplug the power cord and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.The fryer drawer and basket can be cleaned with a sponge and detergent. Do not use abrasive surfaces such as steel wool to avoid damaging the surface.The surface of the fryer should be cleaned after every use. Use a wet towel to wipe. Do not use corrosive liquids for cleaning.Take care that the main appliance and its power cord are not exposed to water.

StorageIf the air fryer will not be used for a long time, it should be cleaned thoroughly, then put into the box for storage in a cool and dry place.
