- This device is suitable to all children. It can be operated by children aged from 8 years and above. Do not allow children to play with this device.
- This device can be used by reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, under the supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way by the person responsible for their safety, and understand the hazards involved.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not open this device or expose this device to heat, water or moisture.
- Do not use this device near bathtubs, sinks, near swimming pools or moist environments.
- Place the device on a solid horizontal surface. It is recommended to place it at an ideal distance from you so that you can hear the sound properly.
- This device should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.
- Do no block the air holes, they serve as air exhaust. Blocking these holes or restricting airflow around the device in any way can cause severe overheating.
- It may take a while to get used to the sound conditioner. This is normal.

OVERVIEW
SETUP
Note: It is recommended to use a surge protector if your power supply is prone to fluctuations.
- Insert the polarised plug into a power outlet. Turn on the power supply.
- Press the on/off switch to turn on the device. The sound output will be set to low.
- To increase the sound level, press the on/off switch again.
- Turn the outer rim of the device to set the required air flow from the air holes.
CONNECT TO SMARTERHOME™ APP
Install App
Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
Register
If you do not have a Kogan SmarterHome™ account, register or sign in with a verification code sent by SMS
To register:
- Tap to enter registration page.
- The system automatically recognises your country/area. You can also select your country code manually. Enter your email address and tap ‘Next.’
- Alternatively, you can select ‘Register by mobile number’ and enter the verification code sent to you by SMS.
- Create a profile on the next page to define your location and room.
Set device in pairing mode
When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode. This is indicated by the on/off switch indicator light flashing.If you have already connected this device with your phone, the indicator light will remain bright and you can use the phone’s app to control device. It is not required to re-connect.If you change your phone or if the device is not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can reset the device by long pressing the on/off switch for 5 seconds until its indicator light flashes quickly and then slowly indicating the device is connecting to the network.
Add device through network
- Once registered, tap “+” in the upper right corner of the app’s home page to add a new device through the network.
- Select the product type from the list of options in the app (Lighting > Lighting).
- Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, with the lights flashing rapidly, and tap “Confirm light is rapidly flashing”.
- Upon successfully confirming pairing mode, enter your Wi-Fi details. It is important that your SmarterHome™ device and the app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.
- The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure your Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close until connection is complete.
- After successfully being added, you will have the option to rename the device and assign it to a location. It will now be listed on the app’s home page. Tap the device listing to enter its control page.
Notes:
- The device and the app must use the same Wi-Fi network.
- The device is only compatible with 2.4Ghz networks.
OPERATION
Control Page
After entering the device’s control page, tap the Power icon to power on the device.
Lamp Brightness
- Move the slider to adjust the brightness of the lamp.
Motor Speed Control
- Tap the Level High icon to set the tempo of fan sounds.
- Tap to select High or Low speed as required.
Timer
- Tap the Timer icon.
- Set timer to automatically switch on and off the motor and lamp.
