Plug it in
Plug the power adapter into the device and then into a power outlet.Connect the device to a power outlet using the power adapter provided.
The power adapter is suitable for the Lenovo Smart Display 7. Do not use it for other purposes.
Getting the app
Open the Google Play Store or App Store on your phone/tablet
Search for Google Home.
Download and run the Google Home app on your phone/tablet.
Set up the Lenovo Smart Display 7 in the Google Home app.
Connecting to the Internet
You’ll need to connect your Lenovo Smart Display 7 to the Internet before using it.
Open the Google Home app.
Tap Get started and register your Google account.
The Google Home app will scan the nearby devices automatically.
Select the device that you want to connect.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Lenovo Smart Display 7.•Use the same Wi-Fi network for your Lenovo Smart Display 7 and phone/tablet.•The system may be updated automatically when using it for the first time. Wait several minutes without operating.
Using the touch screen
Tap on an item.
Swipe from the left edge towards the right to return to the home screen.
Swipe from the bottom edge upwards to access quick settings.
Adjust the screen brightness.
Adjust the volume.
Enable/disable the Do not disturb function.
Set the alarm.

Talking to the Lenovo Smart Display 7
Your device has Google Assistant built-in. Just say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” to get started. You can say “Ok Google, what can you do?” or tap on the Explore tile on the Home screen to learn about how your Google Assistant on your device can help you.For example:If you say “Ok Google, what’s the weather this weekend?” your device will tell you the weather information.Access your settings in the Google Home app at any time to modify your home address.
Factory reset
At the same time, press and hold the volume and the volume down button for a few seconds, there will be a bullet box, click reset.
Using the Google Home app
Use the Google Home app to manage your device. Through the app, you can modify your Google Assistant settings including your personal information, your media service preferences, and your connected smart home devices.

4. Display disconnected and available devices nearby.5. Google assistant.6. The main tab includes tabs such as Discover and Browse.
Making a video call
You can make a video call through the Lenovo Smart Display 7.
Link your mobile phone number to your Google account by performing the following:1.1 Download and install the Google Duo app on your mobile phone.1.2 Register your mobile phone number in Google Duo.
Open the Google Home app and perform the following:2.1 Select the device that needs setting, and open Personal results and Home screen & notifications.2.2 Link your phone number in Duo video calling.•Make sure that you use the same mobile phone number to link Google Duo, Google Home, and the Google account.•Make sure that you use the same Google account in Google Duo, Google Contacts, and Google Home.
Make a video call through voice commands in the Lenovo Smart Display 7 such as: “Ok Google, video call Mom.”Make sure that the person you’d call has been added as a contact.

Charging devices might become warm during normal use. Ensure that you have adequate ventilation around the charging device. Unplug the charging device if any of the following occurs:
