BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The batteries included in the unit are for an in-store demonstration. Before playing, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries (not included) in the unit. Here’s how:

  1. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included), remove the screw and battery compartment cover located under the unit.
  2. Install three (3) fresh 1.5V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included) in the unit making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
  3. Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.

YOUR DJ MIXER

OFF/Volume Switch:To turn on the keyboard, turn the switch to the left.Switch:Move the dial to the Bluetooth® icon and follow the steps on page 4 to connect the keyboard to your device.Headphone Jack Insert your own headphones.NOTE: Music will play through the headphones and the DJ Mixer’s speaker at the same time.Crossfader SwitchAdjust the switch to blend Loops’ beats with the Turntable music.While in Bluetooth®, move the switch to the left to listen to the song more clearly. Turning it to the right will lower the song‘s sound so you can add the Loops’ beat. Keeping the switch centered will give you a balanced sound between the song and the beats.TurntableWhile on Bluetooth®, fully turn it to the right to turn on the music. Fully turn it on to the left to stop the music. Quickly turn it in both directions for scratch sounds.Speed Knob:Turn the knob to adjust the Loops’ speed.Pitch Knob:Turn the knob to adjust the Bass and Air Horn pitch.

Dubstep & EDM Loop Buttons:Press the button once to turn on that sound.Press again to turn it off.

Bass Tone & Air Horn Buttons:Press once to hear a short sound.

Jam out to your favorite song by connecting the DJ Mixer to your device. Here’s how:

  1. Move the switch to the Bluetooth® icon. It will continuously play music while it is searching for your device.
  2. Open the settings menu on your device.
  3. Select Bluetooth® on your device and make sure it is on.
  4. Your device will search for the DJ Mixer.
  5. Select the name “MGA DJ Mixer” to connect your device.Note: The instrument can only connect to one smart device at a time. You will not be able to connect two devices to the same instrument.

Jam out to your favorite song!When using your device, follow the below steps.

  1. Connect the device to your DJ Mixer. Follow the steps under Bluetooth®.
  2. Make sure the volume on your device is set to the maximum volume.
  3. Choose your favorite song.
  4. Make sure the song is on pause.
  5. Rotate the turntable to the right to start the song.Rotate it to the left to stop the song. Quickly rotate it in both directions to add the scratch sound.Move the Crossfader Switch to add the Loops’ beats.

For the best experience, choose a song that is the instrument’s genre.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM   POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
The instrument isn’t playing the device’s song. • Make sure the device is connected through Bluetooth®.• Make sure the volume on the device is turned all the way up.• After choosing a song, exit the app but don’t close it. Alternatively, you can put the phone to sleep, but make sure the app is still running in the background.
The instrument stopped working. • The batteries included in the instrument are for an in-store demonstration. It is recommended to replace the batteries before playing.• Make sure it is on and the volume is turned up.

  • To conserve battery power, always turn the unit off by moving the OFF/Volume switch to the right until you feel the click.
  • After 30 seconds of no activity, the unit will go into sleep mode. Press any button or rotate the turntable.

BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Use only size “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries (3 required).
  • Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision.
  • Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
  • Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instructions.
