BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The batteries included in the units are for in-store demonstration. Before playing, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries (not included) in the units. Here’s how:
Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included), remove the screw and battery compartment covers located on the back of the guitar, under the keyboard and drum set.
Install three (3) fresh 1.5V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included) in each unit, making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Replace the compartment covers and tighten the screws.
YOUR GUITAR
Motion SensorTilt the guitar to control the speed.
Tilt it 55 to approximately 125 degrees up to go faster.
Tilt it back down to its original position to go back to its normal speed.
ATTACHING THE STRAP
Locate both pins on the guitar.
Insert the pinhole on the straps into the pins on the guitar.
To adjust the strap, pull on the strap and slide the buckle up or down.
YOUR DRUMS
STORE YOUR DRUM STICKS
Insert the drum sticks into the sides of the drum set.
YOUR KEYBOARD
Record Button
Press and hold the Record button.
When you hear a beep, the keyboard will start recording.
Record your audio.
Release the Record button.
Turn the Sound Effects Knob to the piano symbol and make sure the Arpeggio/Bluetooth® knob is not on the Bluetooth®.
Press the Record Playback ON/OFF button to activate the recorded sound.
NOTE: Speak directly into the microphone when recording your audio.
Record Playback ON/OFF Button:Press to activate the recorded sound.
OFF/Volume Knob:To turn on the keyboard,turn the dial to the volume.
Arpeggio Speed Knob:Turn the dial to control thespeed of the arpeggio’s tempo.
SUPERSTAR 4 PLAY MODES
Locate the mode switch on the guitar and move the switch to the desired mode.
PLAY WITH THE BANDInstantly join the band and live out your musical dreams! While in this mode, the band will play in the background. Strum the strings and push down the whammy bar to add the guitar to the band.
SOLO JAMJam out to your own customized guitar solo! While in this mode, strum the strings, press the chord buttons or push the whammy bar to play solo without the band.
FREE PLAYCompose your own tune! While in this mode, strum the strings, press the chord buttons or push the whammy bar to play rhythm guitar without the band.
Locate the mode switch on the drums and move the switch to the desired mode.
PLAY WITH THE BANDInstantly join the band and live out your musical dreams! While in this mode, the band will play in the background. Use the sticks to hit any part of the drums and add the drums to the band.NOTE: When you hit the drums, the drum music will start. The music stops when you stop playing the drums.
FREE PLAYCompose your own beat! While in this mode, create your own beat and use the Speed/Volume knob to control the band’s volume.
SOLO JAMJam out to your own customized drums solo! While in this mode, use the sticks to hit any part of the drums. Use the Speed/Volume knob to control the speed of the kick drum.
PLAY WITH THE BANDPress once to turn on the band. Press the keys on the piano to add the piano to the band. Press again to turn off the band. While in Bluetooth®, press once to start the song on your device and play it like a speaker. Pressing the keys will pause the music.NOTE: When you play the keys, the keyboard music will start. The music will stop playing when you stop playing the keys.

Jam out to your favorite song by connecting the guitar to your device. Here’s how:
Move the switch or dial to the Bluetooth® icon on your unit. It will continuously play music while it is searching for your device.
Open the settings menu on your device.
Select Bluetooth® on your device and make sure it is on.
Your device will search for the guitar, drums or keyboard.
Select the name “MGA Electric Guitar,” “MGA Electric Drums,” or “MGA Electric Keyboard,” to connect your device.NOTES:
You can only connect one instrument at a time to your device.
Each instrument can only connect to one smart device at a time. You will not be able to connect two devices to the same instrument.
Jam out to your favorite song!When using your device, follow the below steps.
Connect the device to your guitar, drums or keyboard. Follow the steps under Bluetooth®.
Make sure the volume on your device is set to the maximum volume.
Choose your favorite song.
Make sure the song is on pause.
Guitar: Continuously strum the strings to start the song. If you stop playing the guitar, the song will continue for a few seconds and then pause. Play the guitar again to continue the song.Drums: Hit the drums to start the song. As soon as the song starts, it will continue playing. Continue hitting the drums to add the drums to the song.Keyboard: Continuously play the keys to start the song. If you stop playing the keyboard, the song will continue for a few seconds and then pause. Play the keyboard again to continue the song.For the best experience, choose a song that fits the instrument’s genre.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Instrument isn’t playing the device’s song.
Make sure the device is connected through Bluetooth®.
Make sure the volume on the device is turned all the way up.
Check the Speed/Volume knob on the drum set and turn up the volume.
After choosing a song, exit the app but don’t close it. Alternatively, you can put the phone to sleep, but make sure the app is still running in the background.
Instrument doesn’t stop playing the device’s song.
Disconnect the Bluetooth® by changing the Mode.
Instrument stopped working.
The batteries included in the instrument are for in- tore demonstration. It is recommended to replace the batteries before playing.
Make sure it is on and the volume is turned up.

After 30 seconds of no activity, the units will go into sleep mode. Strum the strings, push the whammy or press the chord buttons on the guitar, tap the drums or press any key on the keyboard to wake it up.
Only attach the straps included to the guitars included in this kit.
