Know Your Toaster

Before First Use

As there may be manufacturing residue or oil remaining in the toaster or heating element, it is not uncommon for the appliance to usually emits odours during the first use. This  is normal and will not occur after several uses. Use the toaster for the first time without any bread in it.

Using Your Toaster

  1. Insert one or two bread slices into the bread slots. One regular-sized bread can be placed in the bread slots. NOTE: Make sure the crumb tray is completely positioned in place before using.
  2.  Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
  3. Set colour control knob to your desired colour. There are 7 darkness setting, where 1 is the lightest and 7 is the darkest The bread slice can be toasted to a golden colour at  the position of “4”. NOTE1.Toasting darkness for one slice will be darker than that for two slices at the same level.2. If toasting continuously, the toasting result will be darker for later batches of toast. This is due to the heating element retaining heat from previous cycles.
  4. Press toaster lever down vertically until it is positioned in place. The indicator of Cancel will be illuminated, and toasting begins. Once the bread has been toasted to the preset darkness, the toaster lever will automatically pop up, and the bread can be removed. NOTE1.The toaster lever can only be set when the appliance is connected to the power supply.
  5. During the toasting process, you may observe the darkness level of the toast. If it is satisfactory, interrupt the toasting process by pressing the Cancel button at any time.
  6. If the bread is frozen prior to toasting, set colour control knob to your desired darkness. Press toaster lever down vertically until it is positioned in place, then press  DEFROST button and the indicator of DEFROST will be illuminated. In this mode, the bread will thaw and then toast it to desired darkness.
  7. If you want to reheat previously toasted bread: press toasting lever down vertically until it is positioned in place, then press REHEAT button and the indicator of REHEAT will be illuminated.
