WORKING MODES

At the bottom of scale, you can find a unit conversion button as shown in picture.

CONVERTING WEIGHT UNIT

If the scale features both Metric (g, ml) and Imperial (lb/oz, fl. oz.) measuring systems, you can change the weight or volume unit as follows:

Press the MODE button to select the mode (weight, milk volume, or water volume), and then press the unit conversion button located on the bottom of the scale to convert between measurement systems.

WEIGHING ITEMS ON THE SCALE

Weight mode

  1. Place the scale on a solid, flat surface.
  2. (Optional) Place bowl on the scale before turning it on.
  3. Press ON/OFF to enter weighing mode.
  4. Wait until the LCD shows all information.
  5. Place item on scale to begin weighing; the scale will display the weight.
  6. If you are weighing water or milk, press the MODE button to choose volume mode and view the volume of the liquid being measured.
Volume mode

  1. Place the scale on a solid, flat surface.
  2. Press ON/OFF to turn on the scale, and wait until the LCD shows ‘0’.
  3. Press MODE button to choose water or milk mode.
  4. Place a liquid container on the scale.
  5. Press ZERO button to reset display to ‘0’.
  6. Pour liquid (water or milk) into the container; the LCD will display the volume of the liquid.
  7. Press MODE button to switch to weight mode and view the liquid’s weight.

USING THE ZERO/TARE FUNCTION

To weigh different items consecutively without removing previous load, or measure items in a container, you can use the zero/tare function.

  1. Put the first load on the scale and obtain weight reading.
  2. When the current total weight is less than or equal to 4% of the scale’s maxi mum capacity:
    • The LCD display will reset to zero each time ZERO is pressed. The icon ’0′ will show on left lower corner of LCD, indicat ing the zero function is active. Maximum weight capacity remains unchanged.
  3. When the current total weight is greater than 4% of the scale’s maximum capacity:
    • Press ZERO button to reset the weight reading to ‘0’ before adding the next load. When this tare function is active, ‘T’ will show on the LCD display. By pressing ZERO again, you can deactivate the tare function to see the total weight on the scale. Maximum weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of the load.

AUTO SHUT-OFF

The scale will automatically shut off if the display shows’0’or the same weight reading for 2 minutes.

MANUAL SHUT-OFF

To maximize battery life, press ON/OFF to turn off the scale after using. If a weight reading is currently shown, you may need to hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn off the scale.

WARNING INDICATORS
