GETTING STARTED

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
STEP 1
POWER ON
Plug the micro-USB power cable into the power port of the BTR.
Plug other end into an AC adapter, TV or computer USB port, or other USB charger.Charge time is ~2 hours. The red charging indicator light will turn off once fully charged.A fully charged BTR can last up to 15 hours.Low battery is indicated by a flashing red status indicator light and “battery low” voice notification every five minutes.The BTR can also be left plugged in to power at all times.
Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.

CONNECT AUDIO DEVICE
Connect the audio jack of the BTR to your wired headphones, home theater receiver, speaker, or other device.CHOICE A: HEADPHONESPlug your headphones into the 3.5 mm audio jack.CHOICE B: DEVICE WITH 3.5 MM AUX INPUTUse the included 3.5 mm audio cable.CHOICE C: DEVICE WITH RED/WHITE RCA INPUTSUse the included RCA audio cable.

PAIR WITH PHONE OR TABLET
Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.Press and hold the Multifunction button for about 3 seconds until you hear “Pairing” and the indicator light flashes red and blue.
Open the Bluetooth menu on your phone, tablet, or other device you wish to pair (usually located in Settings->Bluetooth).If needed, select “search for devices”, “add new device”, or “refresh.”
Select “MEE audio BTR” and allow pairing to complete. Use “0000” if a pin is required.Once successfully paired, the blinking light will turn solid blue.Note: It is only necessary to complete the pairing process once with each new device. When powered on, the BTR reconnects automatically with the last paired Bluetooth device that is in range. To reconnect manually, open the Bluetooth menu on your device and select “MEE audio BTR” from the Bluetooth device list.
FUNCTIONALITY & CONTROLS
* To start playing music, open a music app on your device and start playback.
CINEMAEAR
AUDIO ENHANCEMENT
CinemaEAR is an advanced audio enhancement feature that allows for on-the-fly audio adjustment with four different hearing and sound enhancement modes:
Clear Voice Mode
Boosts speech clarity to make dialogue in movies and TV programs easier to hear over background sounds
Clear Voice Plus Mode
Additional enhancement to provide a greater boost in speech clarity and intelligibility
Dynamic Music Mode
Our signature sound; improves bass and treble response to make music sound more lively and exciting
Bass Boost Mode
Enhances bass response and depth to create more impact and immersion with movies and music
CinemaEAR is disabled by default.
TROUBLESHOOTING
CLEAR MEMORY (DELETE PAIRED DEVICES):
This can be used to delete all previous Bluetooth pairings from memory. Before the BTR can be used again, a new pairing will need to be created.
In standby mode*, press and hold the Multifunction and Volume down buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.
*Standby mode: BTR is powered on but not connected to any Bluetooth device(s). While in standby mode, the blue status indicator light blinks every second.
FACTORY RESET
This can be used to restore all features to their factory settings and delete all previous Bluetooth pairings from memory. Before the BTR can be used again, a new pairing will need to be created.
Press and hold the Multifunction and CinemaEAR buttons for 5 seconds.
HARD REBOOT
A hard reboot can be used on a device that has become unresponsive. This does not delete any pairings or reset any settings.
Plug in the USB charging cable. Slide the power switch to the off position and then back to the on position to complete the reboot.

WARNINGS
Using headphones at high volumes for extended periods of time will result in permanent hearing damage. It is advised you keep volume levels moderate to low at all times for your safety. Turn the volume all the way down after connecting your earphones, then gradually increase the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level. Do not use headphones while driving a car, cycling, operating machinery, or performing other activities that require hearing surrounding sounds.
Keep the device and packaging out of reach of children.
This device is designed and manufactured to operate within its defined design limits. Misuse may result in electric shock or fire. Read and follow these instructions carefully
To prevent fire or shock hazards, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. If the device comes in contact with liquids, quickly wipe away. If submersed in water, do not turn the device on until completely dried. Note: liquid submersion voids the warranty.
Danger of explosion or fire if batteries are damaged. Keep away from direct sunlight, naked flames, flammable gasses, or heat sources such as radiators or stoves
Do not use around flammable gasses as fire or explosion may occur.
There are no user replaceable/reparable parts in the device. Disassembling it will void your warranty.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer
Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by MEE audio could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
