MOA Espresso Capsule Machine

BEFORE USE

Before use, please read this manual carefully

Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.This appliance is for household use only. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to avoid fires, electric shocks, burns, or other injuries and damage. Read these operating and safety instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

  1. Avoid risk of fatal electric shock and fire.
  2. In case of an emergency immediately remove the plug from the power socket.
  3. Only plug the appliance into suitable, easily accessible, earthed mains connections. Make sure that the voltage of the power source is the same as that specified on the rating plate. The use of an incorrect connection voids the warranty.
  4. Do not pull the cord over sharp edges, clamp it or allow it to hang down.
  5. Keep the cord away from heat and damp.
  6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons. If an extension cord is required, use only an earthed cord with a conductor cross-section of at least 0.75mm2 or matching input power.
  7. To avoid hazardous damage, never place the appliance on or beside hot surfaces such as radiators, stoves, ovens, gas burners, open flame or similar.
  8. Always place it on a horizontal, stable and even surface. The surface must be resistant to heat and fluids, like water, coffee, descaler or similar.
  9. Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use for a long period. Disconnect by pulling out the plug and not by pulling the corditself or the cord may be become damaged.
  10. Before cleaning and servicing, remove the plug from the mains socket and let the appliance cool down.The appliance is intended to beverages according to these instructions.
  11. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
  12. This appliance has been designed only for indoor and non extremetemperature conditions.
  13. Protect the appliance from direct sunlight effect, prolonged watersplash and humidity.
  14. This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar applications only such as: staff kitchen Ares in shops, offices and other working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
  15. The appliance is not intented for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Keep it out reach of children.
  16. The manufacture accepts no responsibility and the warranty will not apply for any commercial use, inappropriate handling or use of the appliance, any damage resulting from use for other purposes, faulty operation, non-professionals repair or failure to comply with the instructions.
  17. Do not use the appliance if is damaged or not operating perfectly. Immediately remove the plug from the power socket.
  18. A damaged appliance can cause electrical shocks, burns and fire.
  19. Always completely close the slider and never open it during operation. Scalding may occur.
  20. Do not put fingers under coffee outlet, risk of scalding.
  21. Do not put fingers into capsule compartment or the capsule shaft.
  22. Water could flow around a capsule when not perforated by the blades and damage the appliance.
  23. Never use a damaged or deformed capsule. If a capsule is blocked into the capsule compartment, turn the machine off and unplug it before any operation.
  24. Always fill the water tank with fresh, drinking, cold water.
  25. Empty water tank if the appliance will not be used for an extended time (holidays etc).
  26. Replace water in water tank when the appliance is not operated for a weekend or a similar period of time.
  27. Do not use the appliance without the drip tray and drip grid to avoid spilling any liquid on surrounding surfaces.
  28. Do not use any strong cleaning agent or solvent cleaner. Use a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent to clean the surface of the appliance.
  29. When unpacking the machine, remove the plastic film on the drip grid and dispose.
  30. All coffee machine appliances pass stringent controls. Reliability tests under practical conditions are performed randomly on selected units. This can show traces of any previous use.

COFFEE PREPARATION

First read the safety precautions to avoid risks of fatal electrical shock and fire.

  1. Fill the water tank with clean, fresh water suitable for human consumption;
  2. Place a cup under the coffee outlet;
  3. Completely open the capsule loading cover by turning the loading & ejecting capsule handle;
  4. Close the capsule loading cover by turning the loading & ejecting capsule handle;
  5. Pushing On/off switch to switch on the Machine;
  6. Pushing Espresso or Lungo coffee button when it do not blink again,the coffee will be come out; The machine will shut off automatically.
  7. Open the capsule loading cover by turningthe loading & ejecting capsule handle, used capsule will drop to used capsule container automatically.

PROGRAMMABLE FOR ESPRESSO AND LUNGO COFFEE

You can set the volume of Espresso and Lungo coffee.

  1. Press the programmable button of Espresso or Lungo for around 3 seconds, and release it when the Espresso and Lungo coffee button flash quickly (around 2 times per second), the machine goes into the volume setting mode.
  2. The machine will make coffee continually.
  3. Please press the programmable button of Espresso or Lungo again when the volume reach your requirement.
  4. The machine will save your setting.

FACTORY RESET

Press Espresso and Lungo coffee button meantime for around 3 seconds, the machine will come back to factory setting.

ENERGY SAVING & STANDBY FUNCTION

  1. Automatic off mode:the machine will turn into off mode automaticallyafter 9 minutes of non use.
  2. The machine will going to standby mode with 2hours, you can recall it by press any button.
  3. 1 hours later, you should turn on the machine by the on/off switch only.

CLEANING

Caution
  1. Do not use any strong or abrasive cleaning agent or solvent cleaner.Do not put in a dishwasher.
  2. Never immerse the appliance or part of it in water.Clean the coffee outlet regularly with a damp cloth.
Information
  1. Fill the water tank with water;
  2. Place a container under the coffee outlet.
  3. Repeat the coffee preparation program without the capsule until clean water come out.
  4. Empty the drip tray and used capsule container.

DISPOSAL

Do not dispose of the device in normal domestic waste.Dispose of the device over a registered waste disposal firm or through your communal waste disposal facility.Observe the currently valid regulations. In case of doubt, consult your waste disposal facility.
