Intended use

The Nedis HPBT5400GY is a wireless headphones that plays audio by sending vibrations on the temporal bones.

The product allows you to listen to music and ambient sound simultaneously.

See image A how to wear the bone conduction headphones.

Audio files can be stored on the internal memory.

The product can be paired with any Bluetooth enabled audio/video device.

The product is not intended for professional use.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

  • Only use the product as described in this document.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Disconnect the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.
  • Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
  • Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the product.
  • Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use. Always use the correct charger and refer to the manufacturer’s instructions or equipment manual for proper charging instructions.
  • Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
  • After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
  • Batteries contain explosive gases. Prevent contact with flames and sparks. Provide adequate ventilation during charging.
  • During charging, the battery must be placed in a well-ventilated area.
  • To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

Using the product

Due to the wide variety of products with a bluetooth connection we cannot guaranty that all devices will be recognized or all operating options can function.

Charging the product

  1. Plug the USB power cable B7 into the micro USB charging port B4.
  2. Plug the other end of B7 into a computer or power adapter.

The status indicator LED B2 lights up blue when the headphones are fully charged.

Switching on the product

  • Press and hold play / pause B3 for 3 seconds.

Pairing the headphones to a Bluetooth audio source

  1. Switch on the product to activate searching mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on the device you want to pair the headphones with.B2 blinks red and blue to indicate pairing mode is active.
  3. Select “HPBT5400GY” from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your device.

When pairing is successful, the headphones voice says “Connected”.

If the headphones have been paired with another device before, make sure that device is switched off.

If the headphones lose connection to the Bluetooth source, they will automatically reconnect when back in range and switched on.

Storing music

  1. Plug B7 into B4.
  2. Plug the other end of B7 into a computer.
  3. Copy or move audio files to the internal storage of the product.

Switching between Bluetooth mode and Card mode (Internal storage mode)

  • Double press B3 to switch between Bluetooth mode and Card mode.

The headphones voice says which mode is activated.

Controlling the music

  • Press B3 to play or pause the music.
  • Press and hold B5 to go back to the start of the song. Press again to go to the previous song.
  • Press and hold B6 to skip to the next song.

Controlling the volume

  • Press B5 to decrease the volume.
  • Press B6 to increase the volume.

Making phone calls

  • To answer an incoming call, press B3.
  • To reject an incoming call, press and hold B3 for 2 seconds.
  • To end a call, press B3.

Switching off the product

  • Press and hold B3 for 3 seconds to switch off the headphones.
