Intended use

The Nedis RDFM3100YW is an FM radio with 20 preset radio stations that can be used wirelessly in heavy duty environments.The product is intended for indoor use. When the product is not connected to a main power source, the product can be used outdoors.The product is not intended for professional use.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

  • Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet and other equipment if problems occur.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
  • Do not use the product near water.
  • Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, naked flames or heat.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  • Battery usage by children should be supervised.
  • Batteries contain explosive gases. Prevent exposure to flames and sparks.
  • Don’t leave the battery in an environment with extremely high temperatures.
  • Don’t expose the battery to an environment with extremely low air pressure.
  • There is a risk of explosion when the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
  • Avoid replacing the battery with an incorrect type.
  • Don’t dispose the battery in a fire or hot oven, or by mechanically crushing or cutting the battery.
  • Remove the batteries if you do not use the product for an extended period of time.
  • Unplug the product if you do not plan on using the product for an extended period of time.
  • When the product is not used for an extended period, store the product in a dry place away from sunlight and protect it against excessive dust and dirt.
  • Do not open the product. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
  • Do not put hands and foreign objects inside the product.
  • Keep the product away from magnetic or magnetized objects.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
  • Make sure that the power cable cannot become entangled and does not hang over the edge of a worktop.
  • Listening on high volume for a long time will damage your hearing.
  • Do not block ventilation openings and make sure that there is enough space around the product.

Setup

Choose between setup option A or B.

A. Connecting the product to a power source

The mains plug is used as the disconnect device, such disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

  1. Open the dust cover Ai.
  2. Connect the power supply A to the power supply port Au.
  3. Connect the other end of A to a power outlet.
B. Inserting the batteries

Make sure to match the (+) and (-) polarity marking.

  1. Open the battery compartment lid Ay.
  2. Insert 6 type C batteries (not included) in the battery compartment At.
  3. Close Ay.
Using the product
  1. Press the power button A6 to switch on the product.
  2. Rotate the volume wheel A9 to adjust the volume to the desired sound level.
  3. Press the source button A8 to cycle between the input sources (Bluetooth, FM radio or AUX).
  4. Press and hold A6 to switch off the product. The product automatically switches to energy-saving mode after 15 minutes inactive. Press A8 to activate the product again.
Connecting to AUX
  1. Open the AUX compartment lid Aw.
  2. Connect your audio source to the AUX IN compartment Aq.
  3. Close Aw.
Playing FM radio
  1. Point the antenna A13 upwards.
  2. Press the tune + A3 or tune – A4 buttons to manually adjust the frequency.
  3. Press A3 or A4 to automatically search for the next/previous station
  4. Press the preset + A2 or preset – A5 buttons to browse preset stations.
Saving radio presets

Press the play / pause / scan / pair button A7. The product automatically saves up to 20 radio stations.

Pair with Bluetooth
  1. Enable Bluetooth on the device you want to pair the speakers with.
  2. Select “RDFM3100YW” from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your device.
    • The default password is 0000.
    • The Bluetooth symbol on the LCD display A1
  3. Use A2 or A5 or use your audio source to change songs.
  4. Press and hold A7 to disconnect the paired device.
