Operating InstructionsBattery InstallationOpen the battery holder by holding the lock of its cover and insert 2 x AA batteries as illustrated.Warning: Ensure the batteries are inserted according to the polarity label. The product will not work if the batteries are incorrectly inserted.On / OffOn: When the light is off, press the switch until a click sound is heard to turn on the light.Off: When the light is on, press the switch until a click sound is heard to turn off the light.

Brightness LevelsWhen the light is on, half-press the switch to cycle through the following brightness levels: LOW – MID – HIGH. When shut down and reactivated in over 5 seconds, it will automatically access the LOW Level.

Warnings

  1. Only use batteries as recommended in the user manual.
  2. When the product is kept in a backpack or left unused for a prolonged time, please remove all batteries to prevent accidental activation or battery leakage.
  3. DO NOT open the battery holder when explosive gas is present.
  4. CAUTION! Possible dangerous radiation! Don’t look into the light! May be dangerous for your eyes.
  5. Please store the product in dry and well-ventilated environments. Ambient Temperature of Storage: 0℃~40℃ (32℉~104℉). Relative Humidity: No more than 85%.
  6. The product can be used in hazardous environments when an explosive gas or vapor is present or as emergency lighting for various indoor/outdoor operations (electric power industry, metallurgical industry, railway, port, municipal engineering, and other industries) as well as factories, sites, facilities, railway tunnels, bridges, culverts and more. Ambient Temperature of Usage: -20℃≤Ta≤40℃ (-4℉≤Ta≤104℉)
  7. DO NOT disassemble, modify or reconstruct the product, otherwise, the warranty will be nullified, and the product might be damaged.

Changing BatteriesThe batteries should be replaced when the output appears to be dim or the headlamp becomes unresponsive due to low power. DO NOT open the battery holder when explosive gas is present.

Warranty Service

All NITECORE ® products are warranted for quality. Any DOA / defective product can be exchanged for a replacement through a local distributor/dealer within 15 days of purchase. After that, all defective/malfunctioning NITECORE ® products can be repaired free of charge within 60 months from the date of purchase. Beyond 60 months, a limited warranty applies, covering the cost of labor and maintenance, but not the cost of accessories or replacement parts.

The warranty will be nullified if

  1. the product(s) is/are broken down, reconstructed, and/or modified by unauthorized parties;
  2. the product(s) is/are damaged due to improper use; (e.g. reversed polarity installation)
  3. the product(s) is/are damaged due to battery leakage.
