Nuova Rade 44813 Lock and Keys for Hatch Instructions
The Nuova Rade TOP LINE / MID LINE / CLASSIC / KROME hatches of can become lockable by having the 44813 lock installed in the handle cavity, as shown in Picture 1.
To make this conversion, you will need:
- the TOP LINE / MID LINE / CLASSIC / KROME hatch
- one Nuova Rade 44813 lock (Picture 2)
- Ø12mm drill
- Silicone (without benzene, acetone etc)

Instructions
- Place the hatch lid facing backside up.
- Turn the latch as shown in Picture 3.
- Find the drilling point, indicated on the hatch with a dimple (also marked in red in Picture 3).
- Drill a Ø12mm hole.
- Screw the 44813 lock into the hole drilled and seal it with silicone, to make it waterthight.
- Leave the silicone to dry.
- To lock the hatch:Bring latch to “closed” postion (picture 4) and push the lock button.
