Line 1 and Line 2 Status Lights

Green Active call. Red Call on hold.

Making Calls

Using the speed dial keys Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER key. Press the key assigned to speed dial your contact.To an internal extension Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER key. Dial the extension number.To an external phone number Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER key. Dial the domestic number.To an international phone number Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER key. Dial 011, then the country code and phone number.To emergency services Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER key. Dial 911.

Receiving Calls

Answering a call Pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER key when it rings.Answering call-waiting Press the corresponding non-lit LINE key when you hear the call waiting beep.Stopping ring or call waiting Press the IGNORE CALL key. You may still answer the call on other devices.Toggling Do Not Disturb Press the DND key to toggle Do Not Disturb on and off. When the key is lit green, Do Not Disturb is on.

Ending Calls

One active call If the call is active, hang up the handset or press the END CALL or SPEAKER key.If the call is on hold, press the red LINE key to retrieve it, then hang up the handset or press the END CALL or SPEAKER key.Two active calls If the call you wish to end is active, press the END CALL key. If the call to end is on hold, press its red LINE key to retrieve it. Then press the END CALL key.

Placing Calls on Hold

Putting a call on hold Press a green LINE key to place the active call on hold. The LINE key will be lit red slowly when the call is put on hold.Placing a new call when a call is active Press a non-lit LINE key to automatically put the active call on hold, and switch to the available line. Dial the new phone number.Retrieving a call on hold Press the red LINE key to retrieve the held call.Switching between held calls Press the LINE key that is red to retrieve the held call. The current call will be put on hold.View details of calls in progress View the phone numbers and call durations for each currently active or held call on the display screen. A held call is displayed in grey, and an active call is displayed in black.

Three-Way Conferencing

One active call and one held Press the CONFERENCE key to start the three-way conference.Stopping a conference call Hang up the handset, press the SPEAKER key (if in speaker mode) to terminate all calls, or press the CONFERENCE key to break the conference into one active call and one held call.

Transferring Calls (to internal extensions)

Call transfer Press the TRANSFER key to place the current call on hold. Dial the extension number to transfer to.Transfering to voicemail Press the TRANSFER key, then dial * * and then the extension number.

Call Forwarding

Turn on call forwarding Pick up the handset and dial *72#. Follow the voice prompt instructions.Disable call forwarding Pick up the handset and dial *73#. Wait for the confirmation prompt.

Accessing and Updating Voicemail

Listening to voicemail Press the Voicemail key.Recording/updating your greeting Select Option 5 from the Voicemail menu, then select Option 1Recording/updating your name Select Option 5 from the Voicemail menu, then select Option 2.Changing your PIN Select Option 5 from the Voicemail menu, then select Option 3.
