CAUTION
- This scale is designed for personal use.It should be used for measurement of body weight only.
- This scale is a precision measuring device.Do not drop the scale, or expose it to shock.
- To accurately measure weight, use the scale on a flat, hard floor.Do not use on a carpet, slippery floor, or other soft surfaces.
- Do not disassemble, repair or modify the scale.It may cause malfunction or injury.
- Do not store this scale vertically. If for any reason this scale is stored vertically, be sure not to let the scale fall.
- Do not place the scale where it is exposed to excess water, humidity, direct sunlight, or the outlet of an air conditioning unit.It may cause the scale to malfunction.
- Do not place any items on this scale during storage.
- Store this scale out of the reach of small children.
Important Usage Information
For first time use, or not-in-use for a long time, place the scale on a flat surface. Press the center of the scale to activate it and wait until reading returns to zero. Then step onto the scale directly for measurement.
Operating Instructions
Step 1: Power Supply
Before first time use, remove the pull tab from the battery compartment. 2 AAA 1.5V batteries are included.For battery replacement, insert 2 new AAA 1.5V batteries, matching the positive and negative ends of the battery to the markings, then close.
Step 2: Measurement MODE Selection
Press “MODE” button on the back of the scale to select measurement MODE. The default MODE is displayed in kilograms. You may press the “MODE” button to select from kilogram, pound, or stone.
Step 3: Start Measurement
- Place the scale on a flat, hard surface.
- For first time use or when it is not used for a long time, press the center of the scale to activate it and wait until reading returns to zero.
- Step onto the scale and stand still. After a few seconds, you will see a reading flashing indicating a weight measurement.
- Weight will be displayed for approximately 10 seconds and then the scale will automatically turn off.
Auto On and Auto Off
Step on the scale and stand still as movement can make the reading vary. The scale will automatically shut-off after 10 seconds of inactivity.
Overload Indication
If the weight on the scale exceeds the maximum weight limit (180 kg/ 397 lbs), it will display “oL”.
Low Battery Indication
When the LCD indicates “Lo”, replace the batteries. Remove the batteries when the scale is NOT in use for extended periods of time.
Cleaning Instructions
Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
Limited Warranty
A.M.G. Medical Inc. warrants the device to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year, to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only. Any alterations, abuse, misuse or accidental damage voids this warranty.Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period.
