Dictionaries Installation Manual

For E-ink Devices

Installation of free dictionaries in *.dic format

1. Download the dictionary archive package on your PC.
2. Unpack the archive using your PC.
3. Connect your device to the computer.
4. Copy the required dictionaries (*.dic files) from the PC to the «system> dictionaries» (hidden system folder) folder on your device.NOTE: The «system» folder is hidden by default on some devices. To make it visible change some folder parameters on your PC.
5. Disconnect your device from the PC.

Installation of commercial dictionaries in *.pbi format using a PC

1. Download the installation file of the purchased dictionary in *.pbi format to your computer.
2. Connect your PocketBook to the PC.
3. Copy the installation file to the root folder of the internal memory of the device.
4. Disconnect your PocketBook from the PC.
5. The downloaded file will appear in «Recent Events».
6. Select this file to start the installation process.
7. Confirm the installation of the new dictionary.

NOTE: Some dictionaries are already installed on the device, depending on the device model and the software version.

Installation of commercial dictionaries in *.pbi format using the PocketBook device

1. Download the dictionary file to your device using the Browser application.
2. Open the Downloads folder in the Library application.
3. Start the installation of the new dictionary.
4. Confirm the installation of the new dictionary.

NOTE: After the installation, the new dictionary will appear in the list of available dictionaries.
