SAFETY AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Save these instructions. For your safety, read, understand, and follow the information provided with and on this device before using. The owner and/or operator shall have an understanding of the device, its operating characteristics and safety operating instructions before operating the equipment. The owner and/or operator shall be aware that use and repair of this product may require special skills and knowledge. Instructions and safety information shall be read to and discussed with the operator in the operator’s native language, making sure that the operator comprehends their contents, before use of this equipment is authorized. If any doubt exists as to the safe and proper use of this device, remove from service immediately.

Inspect before each use. Do not use if abnormal conditions such as cracked welds, damaged, loose or missing parts are noted. Any equipment that appears damaged in any way is found to be worn, or operates abnormally shall be removed from service until repaired. If the equipment has been or is suspected to have been subjected to an abnormal load or shock, immediately discontinue use until inspected by a factory authorized repair facility (contact distributor or manufacturer for list of authorized repair facilities). It is recommended that an annual inspection be made by an authorized repair facility. Labels and Operator’s  Manuals are available from the manufacturer.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Pro-Lift Push Lawn Mower Lift Adapter is specifically designed to fit the T-5300 and T-5305 lawn mower lift models. It is designed to lift and support up to rated capacity loads consisting of a single Push Lawn Mower whose wheel width is compatible with the lifting members of the adapter. This lift is NOT suitable for lifting, leveling, and/or positioning cars, trucks, SUV’s or conveyances other than those specifically listed and approved above. This lift is NOT suitable for lifting, leveling, and/or positioning houses, construction trailers, or dwellings in general.

WARNING

  • Study, understand, and follow all instructions before operating this device.
  • Study, understand, and follow all instructions for the T-5300 or T-5305.
  • Use of this product is limited to lifting, holding, and lowering loads consisting of a single push mower compatible with the lift platform. Incompatibility is evident when the wheels of the push mower do not fit within the wheel tracks.
  • Restraining an incompatible load will not make the load secure and may cause an unexpected loss of load.
  • Do not exceed rated capacity.
  • Use only on hard, level surfaces.
  • Immediately after loading, ensure the mechanical load holding device is engaged.
  • Never work on, under, or around a load that is not stable or secure.
  • Stop engine before loading the mower on lift.
  • Never start the mower’s engine while on lift.
  • Keep operator’s and bystander’s head, hands, and feet away from lift arms when raising and lowering.
  • No alterations shall be made to this product.
  • Only attachments, restraints, or adapters supplied by the manufacturer shall be used.
  • Failure to heed these messages may result in personal injury and/or property damage.

PREPARATION

Inspect lift before each use:

  1. Before using this product, read the owner’s manual completely and familiarize yourself thoroughly with the product and the hazards associated with its improper use.
  2. Verify that the product and the application are compatible. If in doubt, contact Pro-Lift Customer Service.
  3. Owner and operators of this device shall be aware that no serviceable or replaceable parts are available for this device other than those parts listed on page 6.
  4. Do not attempt to weld, rivet or otherwise repair this device.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the product from packaging, ensure all components are accounted for (see figure 1).Notice: Attachment springs are pre-assembled to each wheel track using the Phillips Screws, Flat Washers and Locknuts
  2. Remove Hairpin Clip and Clevis Pin from Stopping Plate, and attach Stopping Plate to Wheel Track (see figure 2).
  3. 3With the Lawn Mower Lift in the raised position, hold the track with the springs facing up and the bottom of the track against the wheel bracket. (see fig. 3)Notice: Stopping Plate should be facing outside of Lawn Mower Lift.
  4. Make sure the springs are against the wheel bracket and rotate the track around towards the front of the lift (see figure 4). As the wheel tracks are rotated, the attachment spring should catch the back of the wheel bracket (see figure 5).
  5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for the other side.
  6. Lower the Lawn Mower Lift to the ground, and swivel the Stopping Plates outward (see figure 6).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Remove grass clipping bag prior to wheeling push mower onto lift.

  1. Roll the push mower onto the attachments with the handle facing the back of the Lawn Mower Lift, and rotate the Stopping Plates into the locked position (see figure 7).
  2. Pump the Lawn Mower Lift to the last locking position, where the push mower sits level to the ground (see figure 8).WARNING: DO NOT lift past last locking position.

90 DAYS LIMITED WARRANTY

For a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase, SFA Companies, Inc. will repair or replace, at its option, without charge, any of its products that fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, or which fails to conform to any implied warranty not excluded hereby.

Performance of any obligation under this warranty may be obtained by returning the warranted product, freight prepaid, to SFA Companies, Inc. Warranty Service Department, 10939 N. Pomona Ave., Kansas City, MO 64153.

Except where such limitations and exclusions are specifically prohibited by applicable law, (1) the CONSUMER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL  BE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, and (2) SFA Companies, Inc. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE  FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGE OR LOSS WHATSOEVER, and (3) THE DURATION OF ANY AND ALL  EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND  FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO A PERIOD OF NINETY (90) DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
