Winter Shut-Down Procedures
Important: Filter Housings will break if water is left in them in freezing weather conditions.The following procedure is recommended if you are winterizing your RV
- Shut off the water supply to the filter system.
- Relieve pressure from the water system by turning on cold water in the shower and kitchen. Leave open during the procedure.
- Remove the filter housing by turning counterclockwise.
- Slide-out the old filter and discard it. 0-rings should be saved for future use.
- Empty excess water from the filter housing and reinstall by turning clockwise.
- Close cold water valves and proceed with winterizing the rv.
