REHBAND 7724 Hyper-X Elbow Support 3mm

FunctionGives support, compression and warmth to knee/elbow area. Prevents hyper- extension of joint and stabilizes the joint area. Includes doublejointed aluminium splints on both sides.

Application

  1. Adjust the splints individually.
  2. Open all the velcro closures and pull the brace up to the knee/elbow joint. The patella cutout should be centered on the patella (1257*).
  3. Adjust all velcro straps.
  4. Keep the knee/elbow joint slightly flexed. Fasten the cross-wise placed velcro closures one at a time.

Instructions for Adjusting the SplintIt’s recommended that the splints be adjusted by a skilled person. The easiest way to shape the splint is by bending it further at the pre-made bend. The splint should only be bent sideways.

Adjusting ProcedureFirst bend the splint in the direction that it would allow it to fit your arm best. Avoid forcible bending directly against the splint joint (pic. 1). Bend the splint with a vice or a similar tool (pic. 2) or manually (pic. 3)

Important Information

  1. Use this product with care and only for its intended purpose. Do not make any improper changes to the product.
  2. If you have questions regarding application, please contact your local dealer.
  3. Do not wear products with SBR/neoprene for more than 3-4 hours without interruption.
  4. We advise you to not use the product that contains SBR/neoprene in case of tendency to heat allergy.
  5. Keep the product away from open flame, embers and others sources of heat. Avoid temperature above 120 °C/248 °F.
  6. Do not continue using a product that is no longer functional, or that is worn or damaged.

Washing Instructions

  1. Wash in warm water at 40 °C (104 °F) with similar colours.
  2. Use laundry bag or net.
  3. Stretch product while wet and allow to air dry.
  4. Clean the product regularly according to care instructions on the product care label.
  5. Fasten all velcro closures.
  6. Remove detachable splints.

Size selection

1) Do the measurements as instructed on the packaging.2) Determine the size of the support (see size chart).

Disposal

Dispose the product in accordance with national regulations.
