USING THE HEADPHON

Thank you for purchasing the Dread Gaming Headphones. This guide is provided to help you get started quickly with your gaming headphones please read it carefully and save it for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the instruction manual carefully and completely before using the product.

PREVENTING DAMAGE TO HEALTH AND ACCIDENTS

  • Protect your hearing from high volume levels. Permanent hearing damage may occur when earphones are used at high volume for prolonged periods of time.
  • Don’t charge them with high voltage adaptors.
  • Don’t allow children or infirm to play with your earphones without adult supervision.
  • Don’t use the product in an environment that requires special attention (e.g. in traffic)

PREVENTING DAMAGE TO PRODUCT

  • Don’t use earphone near water. Clean using dry or slight moist cloth.
  • Store earphone at room temperature.
  • Don’t use in extreme dry environments as it leads to static discharge during usage.
  • Don’t expose your earphones to temperature above 40 degrees. Keep out of direct sunlight.
  • Don’t attempt to repair the product yourself. It will void product warranty.
  • Don’t drop, puncture or expose your earphones to excessive trauma
  • Always press all buttons carefully. Don’t mishandle your earphone.
  • Don’t place near object generating strong magnetic field.
  • Use only the supplied charging cable. Unplug the device when not in use or during lightning storm.
  • Don’t expose earphone to excessive heat or fire

UNDERSTANDIG THE HEADPHONES

  1. Ear-cups with memory foam.
  2. Moving coil units with high quality provide high, medium and low audio frequency experience.
  3. Lightweight and self-adjusting head band.
  4. Microphone in high sensitivity provides more accurate, clear and smooth sound.
  5. Switch button for microphone.
  6. Volume button for microphone.
  7. Device interface (right channel +1 ground/left channel +/ microphone +) in 3.5mm international standard (CTLA)
  8. 4 Pieces of 3.5mm single port interface
  9. Two wires provided for connecting the PC terminal.

PARAMETERS

APPLICATION OF HEADPHONES

  1. Headset is suitable for 3.5mm quadrupole single plug audio equipment, such as laptop, tablet personal computer, mobile phone, etc. Adapter cable with 3.5mm interface can adopt 3.5mm computer double plug.
  2. When using headset on your computer, please make sure the microphone switch of headset is on, and then ensure that the microphone switch of computer is on. Please find the “loudspeaker” icon in the computer taskbar and double-click to enter the volume control setting. Enter the “control panel” to set the “sound”.
  3. Please make sure the headset volume control button is at the minimum volume and can be adjusted to the corresponding volume.
  4. Please use headset to enjoy the game.
  5. Support for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 / doing/Win8.1 / Win10 / XP.
  6. Generally speaking, the cable side or microphone side is designed on the left, thus when wearing headset, headset cable end or microphone end needs to be inserted.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. When playing music, is there an accompaniment but no singing?A. The headset plug in quadrupole single plug type. 3.5mm Interface in accordance with international (CTLA) standard: pin connection is the left channel-right channel ground wire microphone, which is the most popular connection within the market with the largest application. If the international standard headset is connected to the non-international standard interface, the phenomenon of background sound will occur. If audio equipment is not in international standard, then adapter cable is required.
  2. When playing music with headset, there is sound, but voice chat can’t work?A. When using the headset, please make sure that the microphone switch in tone control of headset is on and the microphone is working normally.B. The headset plug is quadrupole, single plug has the function of sound/audio combination, which is suitable for single port audio equipment. Please make sure that if your device fits the audio/voice combination interface;C. The headset plug is quadrupole in single-plug type, but your device may be a tripolar interface.D. By the use of equal adapter cable with 3.5mm interface, you can use the computer with 3.5mm double plug (headset and microphone jack socket) interface. You can enjoy the beautiful music while chatting with others.
  3. When playing music with headset, is there any phenomenon happen including noise, low volume, unclear sound or one side with sound, but the other side without sound?A. Please check whether the plug is inserted into the interface device;B. The headset plug is quadrupole in single-plug type, but your device may be a tripolar interface.
  4. Is there any current sound when using headset?A. Please check whether the plug is inserted into the interface device;B. Please open the control panel to check the sound, record and level. Use microphone booster to adjust microphone under the boost mode

UNDERSTANDING THE WARRANTY

Nu Republic thanks you for showing confidence in our products and becoming our valued customers. TO ensure a delightful product experience Nu Republic recommends reading the User Guide carefully and contacting our customer care helpline to understand the product warranty period.

Nu Republic warrants that the product at the time of its original purchase free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is subject to following terms The warranty is given only to original purchaser of the product (“customer”)

The warranty will be applicable for 1 2 months from date of original purchase or 18 months from date of import as mentioned in the import sticker on the box whichever is earlier. The customer has to present the proof of payment/ invoice for claiming any warranty. For entire Warranty Period, Nu Republic or its authorized representative will at their discretion repair or replace.

The details of the service locations can be taken from our service helpline, It is the responsibility Of the Customer to bring the product to the Nu Republic Service Location at his/her own risk and expenses. For any product repaired or replaced during warranty period, the repaired or replaced product shall continue being within period of the original product. The warranty will not be applicable under the following circumstances

  1. The product code/serial number water indicator or warranty seal has been removed, erased defaced altered or is illegible
  2. Deterioration of the product due to normal wear and tear
  3. Use other than in accordance with the user manual rough handling. ingression of /exposure to any kind of liquid (water, sweat, beverages, oils etc.) exposure to moisture, dampness or exposure to extreme environmental conditions corrosion,
  4. The warranty will also not cover any physical damage to surface of the product including but not limited to scratches on the body parts.
  5. As defects caused by the fact that the battery has been short circuited or by the fact that the seals of the casing or any evidence of tampering or the product is used for equipment other that for which it is certified.

For any claim under the warranty is subject to notification to Nu Republic. For the alleged defect within a reasonable time of it’s occurrence and in no event not later than expiry of warranty period.

Nu republic / authorized partner will not be responsible for any kind of losses Direct or indirect resulting due to any loss of customer due to non-functioning. Nu Republic’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of parts only the maximum claim entertained by Nu Republic will be subject to maximum retail price of the product or purchase price (as per invoice) which ever one is lower.

Note: To avail 12 months warranty, kindly register your product by going to My Account on the website-www.nurepublic.co within 30 days of purchase. In event of any unforeseen circumstances, there is unavailability of certain spare parts, prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
