COMPASS BEZEL INSTRUCTIONSApproximate direction can be determined by comparing the position of the hour hand to the sun. These directions are approximate as there is some discrepancy at different latitudes and in different seasons
IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE.Lay the watch horizontally and point your hour hand to the watch at the sun.Halfway between the hour hand, and the 12 o’clock position on the dial, is North. Move the N on the bezel of your watch to mark this point.
IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE.Lay the watch horizontally and point your hour hand to the watch at the sun. Halfway between the hour hand, and the 12 o’clock position on the dial, is South.Move the S on the bezel of your watch to mark this point.
