Functions

  1. Power switch: Slide to the ON position to power the unit. Slide to the OFF position to turn it off.
  2. Multifunction (MFB) button: Press the MFB once to begin or pause playback, answer an incoming call or end the call. Long press the MFB to reject a call. Press the MFB twice to redial the last number.
  3. AUX port
  4. Previous/Next buttons: Long press to raise or lower the volume. Short press for the previous or next track.
  5. Microphone
  6. Bluetooth/Charging LED indicator
  7. DC 5V charging port

Operation

Bluetooth

  1. Power on the receiver, the indicator light will flash blue and red indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth function and make sure it is Search for A2BT in the list of available devices and connect to it.
  3. Connect the A2BT to your device’s 3.5mm AUX input with the included 3.5mm cable.
  4. The A2BT will automatically connect with the last paired device. Please note, for the auto-connect function to work, your device’s Bluetooth function must be on prior to turning on the
  5. You can use the A2BT to control playback and answer calls. You can also use your paired device to control playback or, if using a phone, answer calls.

Connecting a Second Device

  1. Connect the A2BT to the first device following the procedure above.
  2. Once the first device is connected, turn off its Bluetooth function. The A2BT will go into pairing mode.
  3. Turn on the second device’s Bluetooth function and make sure it is discoverable. Search for A2BT in the list of available devices and connect to it.
  4. Turn on the first device’s Bluetooth function and make sure it is discoverable. Search for A2BT in the list of available devices and connect to it.
  5. Now both devices are connected.

Charging

  1. When the A2BT battery is nearly depleted, the LED indicator will intermittently flash red indicating that it needs to be charged.
  2. Connect the unit to a DC 5V power source using the included micro USB cable. Do not use a power source higher than 5V. The LED will remain on during charging and will turn off once the unit is fully charged.

Please note: Fully charge the unit before using it for the first time. If the unit will not be in for a prolonged period of time, charge it at least every three months. The unit will power off during charging.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
No power Make sure the unit is fully charged. follow the charging procedures on page 3.
No sound Make sure the unit is powered on. Check all connections.
Bluetooth
  1. Check to see that both devices are turned on and that your device is discoverable.
  2. Turn both devices off and then on again.
  3. Make sure you’ve selected the proper source (A2BT).
  4. Make sure that the Bluetooth device is within 5 feet of the unit.
  5. Move both devices away from other Bluetooth devices, microwaves, wireless routers, and other electronics.
  6. The BT signal can be affected by walls or other barriers. Make sure there is a clear line of sight between the A2BT and your device.
  7. Make sure there are no USB devices plugged in.
