Multifunction Handle Bar Remote Control
The RAN-L series comes with a multifunction remote control. The remote conveniently mounts to the handlebars for easy access. The unit is waterproof and features oversized buttons for use with gloves.

Installation
- The RATV-L can be powered by your vehicle’s cigarette lighter port, or it can be wired directly to the ignition using the included cigarette lighter power connector. The RED wire goes to the RED ( + ) wire of the ignition harness. The BLACK wire will serve as a ground connection. It should be connected to the vehicle chassis. When connecting the ground wire make sure that there is no paint or other insulator blocking the ground connection.
- To mount the RATV-L to your vehicle, use the four heavy-duty mounting straps included in the accessories package. Please ensure that the straps are pulled tight and the unit is strapped down properly to prevent any damage from occurring.
Multifunction Remote Control
1. Turn-On/Standby: Turn on the unit or switch to standby mode.2/4. Dynamic Mode. Use to switch to dynamic mode from static color mode or to switch between the 22 dynamic modes.3. Dynamic Mode Speed: Use to adjust dynamic mode speed. If the unit is in static mode, pressing either of these buttons will activate the dynamic mode.5. Static Color Adjust: Use to switch between the 20 static colors. if the unit is in dynamic mode, pressing either of these buttons will activate the static mode.6. Direct Color Select: Use to select preset static colors.7. Demo Mode: Press this button to activate demo mode. While in demo mode, the unit will loop through 17 of the dynamic repeating each mode three times.8. Brightness Adjust: Use these buttons to adjust brightness while in static mode. Pressing these buttons while the unit is in dynamic mode will switch it to static mode.
PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to remove the plastic cover from the battery compartment. The remote uses a 3-volt CR2025 battery (included). When replacing the battery be sure to use the same type.
Bluetooth
To pair the unit with your Bluetooth-enabled device follow the simple steps below and you’ll be listening to your favorite tunes in no time.
- Make sure that your device is set to “Discoverable.” Power on the RATV-L unit and it will automatically begin to search for discoverable Bluetooth devices. The LED on the handlebar remote will flash two times every second. This indicates that it is searching.
- Once a Bluetooth device is found, the unit will go into pairing mode. You will hear a long tone and the LED will flash once every second until pairing is complete. Look for and select RATV-L from your device’s list of available Bluetooth devices. Once paired the LED will remain on.
- If the unit is disconnected from the device it is paired to. it will automatically try to pair with that device the next time it is turned on. If the previous device is not found within 4 seconds. the remote control will begin to search for other discoverable devices.
AUXILIARY CONNECTION
- To connect a non-Bluetooth device. the RATV-L features a 3.5mm input port. It is located on the front of the unit. Simply use the included 3.5mm to 5mm mini jack cable to connect the device to the RATV-L. Please note that connecting a device to the auxiliary port will stop Bluetooth function.
