Thank you for purchasing this Rockville RPB25 Portable Bluetooth Speaker.The RPB25 has a unique cylinder shape with 360° sound dispersion technology. This means the speaker will disperse sound in all directions no matter which way you face the speaker. It also has 2 speakers, each on separate channels, which gives you true stereo sound. This is something that other speakers on the market cannot offer. Finally, it features TWS linking which allows you to wirelessly con­nect 2 of these speakers together to give you stereo sound. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • To reduce risk of electric shock, never open the unit. There are no user-service-able parts, refer service to an authorized Rockville service center.
  • Do not expose this unit to any kind of moisture.
  • Please ensure that the unit is situated in a properly ventilated area.
  • Make sure the unit is placed on a level and stable surface.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure your device is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable.
  2. Under list of available devices search for RPB25.
  3. Select RPB25.ATTENTION: WHEN PAIRING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE, PLEASE MAKE SURE THE VOLUME ON THE DEVICE IS TURNED UP.

Bluetooth MusicPress the -/+ buttons on the side of the unit to raise or lower the volume .. Press and hold -/+ buttons for 5 seconds to navigate through tracks.

Bluetooth Hands-Free

  1. To answer a call press the PLAY button.
  2. Press the PLAY button for 5 seconds to end a call.
  3. Double click the PLAY button to dial last called number.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS)

  1. Turn both speakers on.
  2. While in Bluetooth mode, double click the power button on one of the speakers. This will be the primary speaker. You will hear a prompt tone when the unit enters pairing mode. Upon successful pairing, you will hear a second prompt tone.
  3. Search for and select RPB25 on your device’s list of available Bluetooth devices. Both speakers will automatically connect to your device. The primary speaker will control all play back functions.

USB/SD Mode

  1. Insert Micro SD card or USB flash drive (up to 32Gb supported) into the corresponding port at the rear of the unit.
  2. Micro SD card/USB input should be automatically recognized and music will begin to play.
  3. Press the -/+ buttons on the side of the unit to raise or lower the volume .. Press and hold-/+ buttons for 5 seconds to navigate through tracks.

Aux Mode

  1. Upon plugging in a 3.5mm jack, the unit will automatically switch to that AUX input regardless of current mode. To switch back to previous mode, use the MODE button.
  2. Press the-/+ buttons for to raise or lower the volume.

FM Radio

  1. Connect the micro USB cable which doubles as an antenna.
  2. Press the MODE button to enter into FM mode.
  3. Press the PLAY button for 5 seconds to search for available stations.
  4. Once the search is completed, it will automatically play the first found station.
  5. Use the + and – keys to browse and select stations.

ATTENTION: If you turn the unit off and then on again, it will remember the last volume setting.

Control Lock Function

  1. Press the MODE button for 5 seconds to lock the control buttons.
  2. Press the MODE button again for 5 seconds to unlock the control buttons.

Charging

  1. Plug the included micro USB cable into the port marked DC5V.
  2. Charge time is 2.5 hours.
  3. If the unit is inactive for 15 minutes, it will automatically power off.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM SOLUTION
No Power 1.  Make sure the unit is on.

2.  Make sure the unit is charged. See page 5 for charging instructions.

Bluetooth/ TWS pairing fails 1.  Check to see that both devices are turned on and that your Bluetooth device is discoverable.

2.  Make sure you’ve selected the proper source.

3.  Make sure that the Bluetooth device is within 5 feet of the unit.

4.  Check the speaker and input source volume settings.

5.  Move both devices away from other Bluetooth devices, microwaves, wireless routers, and other electronics.

6.  Make sure that the unit is not paired to a previously paired device. Seethe Bluetooth and TWS instructions on page 4.

No USB/SD

playback

1.  Make sure you’ve selected the proper source.

2.  Check that the SD card or USB flash drive is not damaged.

3.  Make sure that the SD card’s or USB flash drive’s capacity is no more than 32Gb.
