Congratulations on purchasing your new SCA 2.5A charger. For your persona! safety read, understand and follow the information provided in this instruction manual & on the battery charger. Never expose the battery charger to rain, snow, water, fog or high humidity.
This SCA battery charger is a sophisticated 3 stage pulse charger, utilizing switch mode technology, designed to charge 12 volt DC Lead Acid batteries and AGM batteries.
As a Lead Acid and AGM batteries charger, the unit provides a safe method of restoring discharged batteries, through a three stage charging process.
BATTERY CHARGER OPEARATION
Simply connect the charger output clamps to the battery terminal: Red clamp to battery +, Black clamp to battery -. Then plug the power input plug to a suitable 240V power socket. The charging will start automatically.
Boost & Absorption stage (Charging indicator on):The battery charger delivers bulk charging current up to 2.5 Amps into the battery being charged.
Float stage (Fully Charged indicator on):The battery charger output current is reduced. The battery is brought up to 95% recharged state and is constantly maintained at this level.

SCA will offer a repair, replacement product or stare credit if the product is assessed as being defective in workmanship and materials during the warranty period.To claim under this warranty, take this product to the Front Service Desk of your nearest SCA stare. Far stare locations, visit www.supercheapauto.com.au (AUS) or www.supercheapauto.co.nz (NZ). You will need your receipt or proof of purchase. Additional information may be requested of you to process your claim. Should you not be able to provide proof of purchase with a receipt or a bank statement, identification showing your name, address and signature may be required to process your claim. This product may need to be sent to the manufacturer to assess the defect before determining any claim. Faults or defects caused by product modification, misuse and abuse, Norma wear and tear or failure to follow user instructions are not covered under this warranty.Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund far a major failure and far compensation far any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.Any expense relating to the return of the product to the stare will be at the cast of the customer.
