Bluetooth® REALTOR® LockboxInstallation ManualThe Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockbox is designed to be attached, by a shackle, directly to a building or other secure structure. The Lockbox has been certified to Loss Prevention Standard (“LPS”) 1175, Level 1 when attached to a substrate or object where it cannot be compromised or removed. Attaching the lockbox to an unsecure substrate will invalidate the security rating. It is important that the end-user follows this instruction manual to retain the awarded LPS certification. Should it be required to attach a lockbox on other than a secure substrate, please contact SentriLock to discuss suitable options. The purpose of this manual is to act as a reference manual for the installation of The Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockboxes. The document remains the property of SentriLock, LLC.
Installation
Location/Position
- It is recommended that the Lockbox be mounted in a location that makes attacks more difficult to reduce the leverage an attacker can impart on the lockbox.
- It is important that the lockbox is hanging vertically from the shackle to prevent rain/moisture from entering the lockbox. Failure to mount in a vertical position may render the lockbox inoperable.
InstallationSentriCard®1. Insert your SentriCard® into your lockbox.2. Wait for the lockbox to display the CODE light, then type your PIN into the lockbox keypad and press ENT.Note: Do not remove your SentriCard® from the lockbox.3. When the lockbox displays the READY light, press FUNC + 1 + ENT.4. While firmly holding the lockbox, the lockbox will display the READY light, indicating that it is time to pull the shackle out of the lockbox. The shackle will come all the way out of the lockbox. If you are not holding onto the lockbox when the shackle unlatches, it could fall to the ground.Note: When using FUNC+1 to release the shackle, please wait for the motor to reset itself and the red DND light to go out before re-inserting the shackle into the lockbox. To reinsert the shackle, firmly press the shackle into the lockbox. The shackle is reversible, so it does not matter which way you insert it. You may have to wiggle it slightly to get it to go into the lockbox. Make sure you hear or feel a positive “click” that confirms the shackle latch has engaged.
SentriSmart® App1. Launch the app.2. Select My Lockboxes from the navigation tray at the bottom of the screen.3. Select the lockbox serial number you would like to attach to the property.4. From the menu provided, select Release Shackle for BLE products or Shackle Release Code for Non-BLE products5. Following the screen prompts for assigning a lockbox to a listing.
