You should set the lock to your own unique master & manager code immediately. Keep notes on which code belongs to which user (Master (User 1), Manager (User 2), User 3, User 4, User 5, User 6 and User 7). A single signal (LED fl ashes and beeps once) response from the lock indicates valid entry. A double signal (LED fl ashes and beeps twice) response from the lock indicates an invalid entry.

  • If three incorrect entries are entered in a row, the keypad will shut down for a period of fi ve minutes. During this shut down period you will not get a response from the keypad.

FAQS

How many user codes can I program?

You can program up to 7 user codes.

Can I change my mind after programming a user code?

Yes, you can change any of the user codes at any time.

What is a valid entry for my lock?

A valid entry is a 4 digit number between 0000 and 9999. You can use numbers or letters (A-Z). The first digit must be a number and it cannot be zero (0). The last digit cannot be more than three (3) digits from the first three digits. For example, if your first 3 digits are 123, your last digit cannot be 3,4,5 or 6. It must be 1,2 or 3. If you have chosen 123 as your code, your valid entries are 1234, 1243 and 1251. You may also use special characters in your entry such as $ # & ! @ etc… However, if you do use special characters in your entry they must be preceded by a number. For example 123$ is a valid entry but $123 is not because $ is not preceded by a number.  If you want to use an exclamation point (!) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as 123! or 12!3 etc…  If you want to use an ampersand (&) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as 123& or 12&3 etc…  If you want to use a dollar sign ($) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as 123$ or 12$3 etc…  If you want to use an at symbol (@) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as or etc…  If you want to use an underscore (_) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as 123_ or 12_3 etc…  If you want to use an asterisk (*) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as 123* or 12*3 etc…  If you want to use an octothorpe (#) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as 123# or 12#3 etc…  If you want to use an equal sign (=) in your entry it must be preceded by a number such as 123= or 12=3 etc.

To delete all codes from your lock follow these steps: 1) Enter * – Master Code – # 2) Enter 0000 – Manager Code – # 3) Turn handle until green light goes out 4) Turn handle

Can this safe be opened by using an earth magnet?

The rare earth magnet breach, as seen on YouTube, only applied to one style of electronic fire safes. Since this video aired, we have offered to send each owner a redesigned replacement part to defend against this breach. We have also redesigned the safe during production, with these new redesigned parts. Regarding combination dial lock safes, this is an entirely different design with parts that are all mechanical, and cannot be breached with magnets. Thank you. see lessBy The Master Lock Company Product.
