WEARING THE EARPHONES

Three popular methods for wearing the earphones are illustrated below.

Tighten the cable and take up slack by raising the cable sleeve 1.

INSERTING THE EARPHONES

If the earphone seems to be lacking in low frequency response (bass), check the tightness of the seal between the earphone and your ear, or try one of the other sleeve options.

Warning: Do not push the earphone sleeve beyond the ear canal opening.

CHOOSING AN EARPHONE SLEEVE

Your earphones come with a selection of sleeves. Make sure the sleeve you use is easy to insert into your ear, fits comfortably, and is easy to remove from your ear.

Note: Carefully slide sleeve over earphone nozzle barb for a secure grip.

CLEANING THE EARPHONE NOZZLE

If the nozzle of your earphone is blocked, clean the nozzle using the supplied wax removal loop.

When cleaning, do not force any object through the earphone nozzle! This will damage the earphone sound filter.

If necessary, the supplied replacement nozzles may be used. See the back of this guide for instructions on nozzle replacement.

Warning: The wax removal loop is only to be used to clean earphones. Any other use, such as using the tool to clean ears, could result in injury.

MAINTENANCE

Careful maintenance ensures a tight seal between the sleeve and nozzle, improving sound quality and product safety.

REPLACING THE EARPHONE NOZZLE

Replace the nozzle if it becomes damaged, or if wax buildup cannot be removed using the wax removal loop.

  1. Unscrew the retainer 3 from the earphone base 1.
  2. Remove the nozzle 2.
  3. Slide the retainer 3 over the new nozzle 2.
  4. Place the nozzle on the earphone base with the flange 4 aligned with the groove in the base. Tighten the retainer 3.

Be careful when replacing the earphone nozzle. Parts are small and easily lost if dropped.
